I just saw someone on Twitter say that SDS is aware of it and are going to fix it.Boston Red Sox

Re: MLB The Show 22 - (PS5/Xbox Series X|S) Impressions
When I finally got a Series X last December, MLB 21 went from an afterthought to something I played a ton. Combine that with being a lifelong Cardinals fan that will be watching what I expect will be a fun season, and also the last for Pujols, Molina, and Wainright, and I expect to be playing a ton of franchise. I hope the season goes well enough that I play it over and over again.
So, I didn’t expect DD to interest me at all this year, and then I played quite a bit of it last night. It’s kinda feeling like I’m going to play more baseball this evasion than I have in several years. I don’t regret the $50 at all, because I will be playing it a ton all weekend, and I don’t mind the devs getting paid for their work.
My guess is that you could probably correlate how much they get for each download of The Show from Xbox to how much they get for the premium editions, and feel like, if they get $34-45 a game, then $50 for the expansion is really just allowing them to collect the same from all early adopters.Comment

Let's just be accurate for people last year the resolution especially for the outfield was not good on Series S. No anti aliasing at all, people should know if they go for that version expect that. No reason why SDS couldn't render at 1440p. That would look fine on a 4k output.Comment

Or the burboun my friend!
I have to say the more I play (the more I want to get the switch version too?)….
That said
Uniforms seem to be better fitted this year is that placebo or the burboun? Lol
Loving the familiarity of the game playing on Xbox series x so this is all new to me as I’ve always played in on playstations
But I started using Quick Manage to do sims on PC and my iPad, and it was great. Have not tried 22 with it yet, but, while not a replacement for what a Switch would do, can get you pretty close.Comment

Loving the new presentation aspect of the game, it makes it feel so fresh. The commentary feels more natural and is a great foundation to build on over the next few years.
Visuals don’t seem any different to me.
There is a noticeable difference in hits. I’m seeing much more variation in how the ball acts, especially on infield hits.
Outfielders sprinting to the exact spot the ball is landing then standing still for 2 seconds seems to be a thing of the past! Outfielders seem to be adjusting their feet until the last moment much more often now which looks a million times better.
The crowd audio seems to have had an overhaul…it sounds great!
Of course it’ll have its issues but I’m loving the game.Comment

With runners on base and you hit a homerun, the runners will not indicate if it’s a homerun like year. They will set up to tag or go halfway instead of sprinting before the ball lands.

I had no clue Timing had been added back as a batting option. Very excited about this!
Directional, Zone and Timing are the 3 options. You can choose buttons or analog for the input type for each.
I had been using Directional, but switched over to Timing to start testing things out to see if I notice any differences. So far, so good and it's just as I remembered it being. Nice hit variety in my limited sample size.Currently Playing:
