$92 for early access. Not sure I can justify that, but the Series S was going to be my plan. Hearing this in regards to 21 is worrying.

On Xbox series x(cuz some cats ain’t sayin what system they on)

      That said

After a very scary situation with the Xbox game pass early bundle (where I couldn’t download it )

      I’ll say this
Game is MLB THE SHOW. It never really misses a beat it stays true and it plays well and it looks the part

It just doesn’t wow anymore. MLB 2k7 wowed me PYS 2019 wowed me this doesn’t sadly and until grass and player clothing physics are redone it will not

If I had some constructive criticism to say(BEcaue core game is great still) would be the fact that the game needs to feel more windy. Uniforms have to flap grass needs to look better and rain needs to look better
      Basically environment stuff

Audio Team: It's a nice change just to hear someone new, but it's certainly not as well produced as the last group and for good reason. There just hasn't been enough time to refine it. The only audio they have of Boog saying Benetendi from KC is with extreme excitement. Just sounds off. Heard them talk about how it was a nine-pitch at-bat but the count was 1-1. Finally, don't play interleague games in an American park or Boog and Singleton will drone on about how this is an opportunity for a player to get extra time playing DH in an American League park. I KNOW, I KNOW, but universal DH was all but guaranteed. It's a crappy exchange at the very least, let alone obsolete.

Graphics: Same as last year. I think they look great, but I remember being impressed by High Heat.

Gameplay: Same as last year. So, great.

Stadium Creator: Very disappointing. Stale. Adding night games is vital, but not adding wall ads and different bullpen locations makes this tool lifeless. No astroturf, no domes...

Stadium Updates: Disappointing. Baltimore not in. Chicago not in. GLF still rough.

          Misc:
New regional theme is very nice.
Menus are the same and that is just fine.
          This game is still amazing.

So I can't hit for crap in this game lol. I'm not complaining, it's actually a breath of fresh air that I'm having issues. Last year I could knock the ball around the park. This year however, not the case. I like the fact that I have to work for it so far.

Late to the party. It was literally in the tech demo. It's not in the full game? WTH

FINALLY pitchers get injured if they get hit by a ball on a line drive! Blasted Bruce Zimmerman in the face with a line drive, he fell like he was shot and he had to be taken out of the game with a head injury

Played almost exclusively DD today for the first time ever. The challenges are actually a lot of fun.

Vault is a catastophe….Dustin Pedroia has Bo Jackson’s name, Michael Jordan has Pedroias name, Steve Blass is Manny zsanguillen, Ryan Noda/Brandon Lewis.Steven Romero all have Justin Yurchaks face, on and on. I didn’t think it could be worse than last year.

On the Braves roster…William Woods, Bryce Elder, Brooks wilson, Alan Rangel, Connor Johnstone, Brandon White, Thomas Burrows, Nolan King, Corbin Clouse, indigo Diaz, Will Latchman, Freddy Tarnok, ALL have the same SCANNED FACE. I think it’s a developers face.

That’s enough on that. Is what it is.

I know I've been mostly playing moments, but the commentary is super repetitive. Every player that is remotely athletic gets the same "he could play in the NBA or NFL" and every late game at bat "This would be considered a high leverage situation"

Try playing with commentary off and turn up all other sounds. Love playing the game this way, especially this year with the crowd being more immersive and making a multitude of different sounds throughout the game. The game even has the drummers in Oakland.

The drummers have been in for a least the last couple years.

Can someone let me know if they've addressed the collision detection & clipping issues from last year? The issue that stood out in 21 was the 1st baseman's arm clipping entirely through the runners body when diving back to base on pick off attempts. These type of issues killed the immersion for me. Has this been fixed in 22?
