I've been DD exclusive so far, can't say for sure which stadiums, but I'd guess 2/3 or so.

I guess in critical at bats I could just bail to the options screen... but good grief, thats absurd to even say..

A small thing I noticed today, which really impressed me after focusing on it, is the players' footwork around the bags. Not only are the tag animations much more realistic, but the footwork receivers are using based on the throws is impressive. As someone who played ball in high school, I can really appreciate the detail of ensuring middle infielders utilize proper footwork when receiving the throw from a catcher or the outfield.

I had a weird announcing thing happen twice today. First, Boog made a call about Trout making a catch against the wall when in Trout came in on the ball a bit and caught the ball pretty close to the middle of CF.

And then to one up it, had another call where he said the player was "bracing for the wall". On a ball caught right around halfway between home plate and the pitcher's mound.

I've had a few of those as well.

I thought it might have been tied to swing contact. One was a frozen rope, that I recall. But I'd have to rethink that, sounds like your were a couple lazy fly balls.

I played with/reset every available setting on my tv (2020 LG OLED C9) and on the PS5.

I have a newer LG in another room, I was going to give that a test at some point.
That is ABL (Auto Brightness Limiter) One of the biggest drawbacks to LG OLED models no matter the year.

One way to lessen it is to only use HGIG, if you use Dynamic Tone Mapping it overblows the whites which makes you lose detail and at night due to the bright lights on the stadiums the ABL kicks in. It does not do that as much with HGIG

                Are on you Xbox CB?

My ps4 fried itself, can't upgrade to ps5 here (shortages on stock) so really wanna get an xbox.

but the only game i play passionately is the show.

Is the show worth it on xbox? does it vary much from ps4?

                thanks in advance bro!

I'm on PS5 and never played on Xbox, but the game shouldn't be any different aside from the fact that Xbox doesn't allow SotS...and neither does PS5 for that matter.

I would say if you're a fan of the Show get it on Xbox.
I can't shave with my eyes closed, meaning each day I have to look at myself in the mirror and respect who I see.

I miss the old days of Operation Sports :(

Yeah, one was a pretty standard fly ball to CF, the other was a weak pop up that the pitcher made a shoestring catch on.

Yeah...played it on the PS5 and Xbox Series S and see literally no differences.

I'm one to usually pick up on any differences too, lol.

Something that has bugged me for the past few years, but does anyone else on the higher difficulty levels get more strikeouts by actually missing the sweet spot on Meter pitching than by hitting it perfectly? I get way more strikeouts by being "Just Late" or even "Late" on my pitches where if I hit the sweet spot perfectly I often give up hits instead.

I feel like the Series X with Dolby Vision looks better than the PS5’s basic HDR. However, I feel the game runs more smoothly on the PS5 over the XSX.

For example, when moving the cursor around when picking my spot for pitching (using broadcast camera), the frame rate dips a bit. Same when I had any balls go to the 3rd base side at Dodger Stadium (again, using broadcast camera).

Not tried it with dolby vision yet as my TV only supports it at 60hz. I'm never quite sure if it would be better to play games in general with dolby vision if I can only get 60hz?
