Not tried it with dolby vision yet as my TV only supports it at 60hz. I'm never quite sure if it would be better to play games in general with dolby vision if I can only get 60hz?

Well, the game can only run at a cap of 60fps so yeah, I’d turn DV on.

Whether it’s me, or the CPU, it’s exciting to see a relay from the outfield to the cutoff man to nail a runner at the plate.

I know its not because no game ever will be, but after this patch, for me this game is damn near perfect.

I've only gotten it once so far. Ironically it was at Safeco, which is the park I've been to the most.

That's wild. I've had the game since 4/1 and I get the fan cam several times each game I play. It took me a few games to catch on and see the notification that I was in fan cam and could move the camera.

So, I did not know the fan cam was a thing, lol. Makes me wonder how many times I missed it now? Noticed it in my 8th game at Philly.

Had an epic game with the Mets last night in franchise. Max Scherzer vs Jack Flaherty on the mound. Both pitchers were on it, despite Flaherty yielding 2 runs in the bottom of the 1st thanks to a misplay in the outfield by Dylan Carlson.

Max Scherzer went 7 innings giving up zero runs on 1 hit and striking out 14

Jack Flaherty went 7 innings giving up 2 runs on 4 hits and striking out 13

We tied the game in the Top of the 9th off of Edwin Diaz after getting 3 straight 2 out, 2 strike hits, the last being a 2 run double by Justin Toerner.

In the bottom of the 9th, with 2 outs and 2 strikes, Nick Wittgren, who was one strike away from the immaculate inning, hung a changeup that Pete Alonso belted into the left field seats for the walkoff homerun. So deflating after getting back into the game the way we did, but damn what a game!

Personally, I'm really enjoying this game. Some minor things bother me like some commentary blips (but I think those are better post-patch) and the ticker at the bottom repeating stuff is a little aggravating but those are very minor to me.

It's weird though, I see a lot of complaints online about the game being unrevolutionary and that it's the same game every year...I haven't really played since 19 but this game definitely feels different than 19 to me, not that 19 was bad but this game feels better to me. I see other complaints about long time fans of the series being turned off by the attention DD is getting. I've never really played DD and I don't think it's something I would really get into, myself but I find it interesting that most of the complaints are either that the game is "too old" or "too new"

But myself, I think it's great, I'm just sticking with franchise. I do hope franchise isn't eventually scrapped because that's really my go-to.
