This games inability to properly immerse you in the moment has been its biggest killer for me for over a decade. They seem so close but just never break through. Like they have the right idea but don’t quite understand.

Also - the play by play crew is friggin obnoxious. Never liked Sciambi and can’t stand listening to his phony nasally voice repeat the same stories about how he could draw a walk in the big leagues all day.

Also I’m probably in the minority in this but please upgrade the stuff you upgraded in 2015-ish… yes I’m talking about bat flips and hair. Believe it or not, hair styles have changed since 2015 when that part of the game was redone! And the bat flips have reeked of clown shoes ever since they were added… As if I want to hit a home run and pretend like I’m bowling or doing somersaults around the bases smh. Can we just please for the love of god just add some clean, smooth looking pimp jobs that are actually cool and not insanely ridiculous?

Is there any reasonable explanation for franchise mode not having all the equipment uniform options you can purchase in DD or RTTS? Overall I think it would be a great improvement if the same equipment and uniforms that are available in those modes even if you had to purchase them with stubs. I think most franchise players would be OK with that as long as it’s an option for the mode. But to not have them even as a purchasable item for franchise is further proof that they don’t have a sincere effort on improving franchise mode in the long run.

I give the commentary team a bit of a pass due to this being their first year. I agree that I'm tired of the repeated lines but I expected them this year. But everything else I tend to agree with. I don't have a problem with a few cartoon celebrations but we need a lot more realistic ones.

Really small thing but I’d love for their to be a way to differentiate between spring training numbers and regular season numbers. Kind of an immersion killer to see a prospect get called up in season and he’s wearing #84

Hey now, Dylan Cease got his call-up in 2019 and is still wearing #84

Having stats like this in franchise mode would greatly increase the immersion. Unfortunately, I don’t see them adding it considering it hasn’t been done by now on NG consoles.

I don’t understand why it’s not already in the game because in real life baseball it’s information that every team uses to plan their game day strategy.

Placing it in DD but not franchise is inexcusable but not surprising considering they have not added basic franchise feature in years.

Would like the ability to turn off vibration for pitching only. As it stands it’s all or nothing which detects from hitting and fielding if turned off.

I don’t have any visual aides for pitching so only know how far off the zone I am with the vibration, kind of reduces the challenge.

I hate it for pitching, but I do enjoy it for batting also too as well

you can turn vibration off and on between innings,
though that can be a cumbersome annoyance for awhile,
until you have done it so often it becomes second nature

This is the kind of stuff that goes into planning for pitching in batter matchups I don’t have it in franchise but have it in diamond Dynasty is disappointing.

I was looking at the pitcher analysis during one of my franchise games yesterday and there is some really cool data in there. It would be great to have that available from the franchise menu to get a game plan for the pitcher you’re about to face

I would like to see MLB the Show 23 come to the PC this is one of the best baseball games made and I use to play it on Playstation 2 and loved it.

That's a lot of appendices honestly in my opinion if I'm to be frank.

Anyway, since I turn off vibration because of pitching I don't even know how it works on offense, especially on PS5 with haptic feedback. What kinds of things is vibration used for there?

It really is interesting that they don't separate it all. It's one of those oversights where if they haven't caught it now they're unlikely to ever change it, but seems feasible enough that if it gets brought to somebody's attention I hope they aren't negligent enough to just ignore it and they can do something about it. I am in the camp of assuming they wouldn't change it even if they read this, but I'd love to be wrong.

I'm still on the ps4 so not sure about next-gen but ps4
batting vibrates for clutch situations like such as RISP situations
