    PLEASE

Let us edit player tendencies and strike zone tendencies.

It's hard though...especially when I got my neighbor playing their franchise across the street...maybe I will occupy myself with Glamore Magazine.

One thing I'd like to see is the default stats shown front and center. When you're on the lineup page in franchise , it gives you At-Bats, HR, RBI, and Batting average. I'd personally much rather see OBP and SLG over RBI and Batting Average and Plate Appearances over At-Bats. And I wish they'd track OPS splits rather than relying so much on the "traditional" stats. And even in game, first AB of the game Batting Average is always shown; I'd much rather see OPS.

With the trade deadline on the mind...I'd love to see contract/trade negotiations become more of a mini-game of sorts within franchise mode. I think getting the logic to work correctly is more important, but eventually capturing the excitement and stress of the deadline would be cool. I don't know a ton about hockey to know how accurate it is, but the NHL series seems to do that pretty well through things like GM relationships and having to negotiate multiple trades at a time at the deadline
        Chicago Cubs
        Michigan Wolverines

I like this idea and hadn't thought of it. Speaking of the trade deadline, I'd also like to see three-team trades become an option. We've seen three-team trades more frequently at the deadline so I think it's time to make that an option. I'd also like to see an option to trade someone for cash considerations or a player to be named later. A player traded for cash considerations happens all of the time in baseball so it'd be cool to add that.

How about also having more than 3 player slots for trades . That would be nice .

Agreed! I always compare things to NBA 2K because they do a good job with trades in their franchise mode. 2K allows up to 3-team trades and I believe they give each team 5 player slots. In addition to adding players to the slots, you can also include future draft picks. I'd like to see that included in future Show games.

I think MLB (not the PS game) is weird about trading draft picks. So that's why its not in the game.

MLB doesn't allow teams to trade normal draft picks. The only picks that can be traded are the competitive-balance-round picks. I do believe the game should allow you to trade the competitive-balance-round picks, but I don't think they're in the game yet either.

Something I'd like to see added is allowing me to change ratings to the 20-80 scouting scale. That would enhance the realism of playing, scouting, and more by introducing realistic fog-of-war.

For Playstation players anyway, being able to use the motion pad on the DualShock to control the PCI (instead of the left stick) seems like it would make sense to me. It just seems more intuitive and I feel like I'd be better at it. Not that I could be any worse at hitting in the game...

I really really really want more camera options for fielding. They have been the same for so long at this point it is stale the lack of options. They also Need to get creative for presentation at least with broadcast turned on. They need exterior shots, booth pre game presentation like on NBA 2K.

Now that you mention the controller, I was thinking last night I really don’t like using the stick to control speed anymore, where long, intense sprints feel like I’m gonna break the thing.

Sprinting should be tied to R2. With the full adaptive triggers there’s a lot they could do with that, not just old school “turbo” but full-range-adaptive-resistance like a gas pedal or bow in other games: slower, lower-agility players would have more resistance for instance.

Kinda miffed that a Sony first-party title, at least on my settings, doesn’t use the adaptive triggers at all.
                        Just one man’s opinion.
I don’t actually care about any of this.

what I need is quick counts to be two options:
                          quick counts for pitching
                          quick counts for batting

whenever I do play with QC on, it's not always because I'm pressed for time, but it really helps keep my walk ratio when batting aligned with the rest of the league

but I hate having to give up complete control of my pitching just because I want to hit with QC on. pitching is my absolute favorite part of the Show, it IS the reason I play, and giving up fully working the batter is almost intolerable

I think they need to make the overall pitch speed faster. I feel like they’ve been gradually making it slower and slower over the years.

Players in general have a hard enough time picking up pitches as is. The only way they should increase pitch speed, imo, is if they introduce some sort of mechanic that helps with pitch recognition. Plate Discipline is generally awful as is.
