MLB the Show 24 The Mets

Any chance of the Mets even having a half way decent roster on the game next season?

The current roster is so thin on pitching that you can't even assemble a decent staff and bullpen.

The bench is non existent. We have some good young players but they are not solid dependable players yet with the exception of Alvarez.

    No speed...no power...no contact...no bench..no bullpen...fielding isn't really that great either.

Not a lot of action from them so far in free agency. Hopefully when the winter meetings happen things will change.

Perfect candidate for a rebuild/roster overhaul.

Worst part about using the Mets is going to be having to wait for a roster update before you have a roster with Yamamoto on it

Apparently the Mets are trying to trade for Juan Soto.

That is the bat that we need to go along with Alonso and Lindor assuming they don't trade one of those two.

You can download a user created roster once the free agent period is over.

Im not sure which system you are using but their will more than likely be several good rosters available for download once all the free agent roster moves are done.

Does anyone know if the Mets are finally going to get a City Connect Jersey in 2024?

Finally the Mets are making moves.

Last week they signed Severino and Joey Wendle those aren't major moves but it is a start.

They just signed Tonkin from the Braves.

Still waiting on some of the bigger moves to come through.

We are one of the last 3 teams left in the running for Yamamoto.

According to reports they are targeting other players as well.

Huge Mets fan here. I would not get your hopes up. I do some side project work for WFAN and can tell you its not looking good. You will see a lot of these side projects like J Lopez an such. They are all in on Tamamoto but a lot of people believe he will choose the Yankees since he is a fan and they are setup to win now. I think we are going to have a really bad season. Not sure if Sterns was the right guy for this city but that is a topic for a different venue.

Might be really fun to play with a roster not expected to win, play the kids, and see what happens in year 2 or 3

Re: MLB the Show 24 The Mets

The current download roster of the Mets has no depth.
Even with the current signings the players still are not very good.

It is very hard to beat the CPU with the current Mets roster. The hitters don't have a lot of contact so it is hard to get a sustained offense.

Plus the most of your hits with the current roster will be singles. Not a lot of extras base hits.

The Mets on next year's game may not be very good.

Good point. You will have to make your own big signings in next year's game.
