For me, I'm just begging for a "dark mode" of sorts more than anything. I feel the menus are burning my retinas.

it's terrible when playing at night on low lighting. And the fonts.....terrible choice. Regional theme is better.

i know i mentioned it already in the little things thread but it's cool you can now change sliders directly in Custom Practice mode without having to exit to main menu.

Also...this is something to verify tho, I simulated a quick franchise and it seems like there's a lot more injuries for Pitchers, with surgery as the reason. Would like others thoughts on this since it was very late in the night when I tried this. :wink:

The Jordan Walker player from St Louis looks nothing like JW. Skin complexion or body build. It was the same thing in 23.

Alexander Canario on the Cubs is actually Nelson Velasquez, who plays for the Royals now.

That's pretty poor.

Some very early observations

The menu this year is awful. It hurts my eyes. Really bad decision.

Hoping they fix some hair in a patch. Elly DLC hair is stiff as a board. Shane Bieber's hair is the same as it was in '23 which they never fixed. He hasn't hair long hair in 2 years, plus his hair also does not move in the game. Its frustrating that some hair looks amazing (tatis, ramirez, India) and some looks as bad as last year like they never touched it. Weird. Hopefully a patch will fix it.

The game is smooth as ever. Colors really pop. Seeing a ton of new animations and new replays.

That's all I have so far after an hour of messing around with it.

Yeah I dont have any issues with the layout, just the colors. Hugely white/bright grey.

Busch Stadium needs a lot of love. The buildings and skyline are so far off, it looks like someone made the stadium from memory.

That being said, I didn't notice an exterior cut scene. So maybe they haven't gotten around to this stadium just yet. Fingers crossed it's patched at some point.

Not ONE new sign in the stadium creator…..not one! The props are about 99% the same as last year.

Only played briefly, but the crowd seems much more alive this year. Louder, better reactions to specific situations etc.

Also they added in the siren at Yankee stadium for a 2 out, 3-2 pitch and it’s so loud! I got so startled when it happened for the first time, haha.

I don’t know if it’s just me, but the strike zone and setting the pitch feels a bit…sticky? Moving the ball around in the zone and setting your pitch feels a bit less smooth than 23. I can’t quite describe it.

I noticed that too. Almost feels like a lag or slight delay to it. Definitely gives the sticky feeling

I like that they went to the pitch com motion for catchers but I went to replay and even though the animation is there, it does not look like there is actually a pitch com device on the catcher. Maybe I am wrong here but I couldn't find anything. Not that big a deal but just kind of funny.

May seem like a silly complaint but I wish we could disable the catcher pitch com animation and go back to him putting down signs.

IMO it looks stupid especially since there is no communication (pitch called)being relayed to the pitcher.

Busch stadium has been awful years. Build One Cardial Way in the show!
