Really love the regional scorebug this year. Not sure if I like it as much as 22's, but definitely better than last year's.

I don’t like how they took the special dates off of the scorebugs this year. Last year you had opening day, and NLDS, NLCS etc. on the scorebug. I’m noticing that’s missing this year. Not a big deal really, but noticeable.

Also...the bat sounds...very authentic this year. Such a great variance of hit sounds.

I play with a pulse headset and the 3D audio sound on them with this game is something else.

The pop of the mitt as a heater flies in...beautiful.

Player vault still a problem trying to get the proper face to load. R2, L2, R2, L2, on and on.

The new hair physics are ridiculously good. I didn't think it would be such a big deal when I first saw mention of it but after seeing it in actual gameplay with my own eyes I can say for certain that it may be one of the biggest improvements this year. Some of the new hair styles look glorious with it. If ever there was a reason to buy the new game it would be for this. No longer does hair look like a cutout from an 80's game. The level of immersion I'm getting from this is amazing. I love it.

Who wants to be that there are no new home plate animations when consecutive runners score across home plate? Where did the 400 new animations go?

The Franchise "Custom Game Entry" is really quite unique from anything else the game offers in terms of drop-in play. As we've already seen you can set the conditions for entering a simmed game (mostly focused on inning, score and the presence of runners on base), but it also allows you to drop back out into sim if those conditions become "not met". So even if you choose the 1st inning for the earliest inning you want to play, you might still swap between playing and simming several times in the game, depending on how many big moments come up and what your situation importance setting is.

The Player Highlights option is also notable for being able to drop you into big individual moments like 2 Homer games, late game complete games or no hitters, cycle attempts, that kind of thing.

Are any of these impressions from PS4 version?

I got 23, not sure it’ll upgrade cause I got SOTS set up and not sure if all these cool new things made it to PS4 version.

Happened to me too. Take it off legend difficulty. Legend is absurd.

Usually I can immediately tell when a player doesn't have a face scan but in the Rangers Arizona game you can play while waiting for the game to install, I had to do four or five double-takes before I was positive Evan Carter doesn't have a face scan. He looked that lifelike in my opinion.

Kinda bummed it looks like Sony decided to stick with the blue circle from hell when auto-throwing as a fielder. Not an end of the world deal-breaker, but not a selling point for me personally.

Loving the immersion of the pitch clock. Now just wondering if batters can get called for delays too. If Sony can find a way to incorporate that, now we got something here doubley interesting.

I've always been auto fielding to make ratings play the biggest part, this year I've gone auto fielding and auto throwing.

No blue circle of hell, just clean screen and beautiful animations.

You should try it.

Going to be a great year. I'm a terrible hitter even in All Star, with AS settings I got a perfect perfect with Ha Seong Kim in my first pitch of my 1st AB of the new game. Then proceeded to hit a HR with Manny Machado in the same inning. Probably will need to adjust sliders but was fun way to start MLB The Show 24. I was juiced!
