Think I just had my best Show moment, outside of winning WS. Bottom 9, no outs, runners on first and second clinging to 1-0 lead. My closer being wild and couldn't find the strike zone. 3-2 count and got a ground ball to third and third baseman tagged runner going to third(I didn't try to), thow to second, then to first for game ending triple play!

Hey guys unfortunately the Marlins franchise is coming to an end. My game crashed after going into a critical situation and hitting a go ahead homer in the ninth. I went into the menu to warm up a reliever and everything froze. Not sure if that's happened to anyone else but my file got corrupted and I can't get back into it. Unfortunately the only other save I had was from way back in the first year. So I'll be starting a brand new franchise going with my other pick the White Sox. Hoping this will be patched so it doesn't happen again and will have back up saves going forward.

        2025 Houston Astros 06/16-06/19

Overall Record: 37-38 (3rd AL West/8.0 behind Texas Rangers)

        Game Results:

        Game 1
        Astros-4
        Athletics-1

        Game 2
        Astros-4
        Athletics-1

        Game 3
        Athletics-3
        Astros-1

        Game 4
        Athletics-8
        Astros-5

Astros miss another opportunity for their first June series win.

The Houston Astros are falling further behind in the West as they are still yet to win a series in the month of June. Houston had a lot going for them in this series. They were facing the Athletics who are 5th in the division and Yordan Alvarez's recent power surge should have propelled them. Instead, they could only split the series winning the first two and losing the last two. Yordan homered in each game and twice in games two and four. In total, going back to the Minnesota series, he has homered in five straight games and has his MLB leading total up to 32.

Still, they could not get the series win. Their game three loss came thanks to a strong performance by the Athletics pitching staff led by Luis Severino (6.2 IP/5 H/1 R/3 SO). The bullpen was even better as Tyler Ferguson, Jose Leclerc and Mason Miller combined for 2.1 hitless innings as they also struck out four Astros hitters.

Houston had a 3-0 lead through the fifth inning in game four behind two homeruns by Alvarez and a solid start by Cristian Javier. He did eventually give up a run before he was pulled to start the seventh inning with the Astros still up, 3-1.

Then the bullpen blew it, mostly Tayler Scott who pitched just 0.1 innings in the 8th as he allowed 4 hits and 5 runs.

When everything settled, the Astros 3-0 lead turned into a 8-5 loss to tie the series at two each.

The Astros will now try their hand at winning a series against the fourth place Los Angeles Angels (33-41).

**cool note** Alvarez homered in his first at-bat in each game during the Athletics series

          2025 Minnesota Twins

The Twins are who we thought they were!

So I did a thing. I didn't do write ups for my series with the Angels and Guardians because I wasn't sure the old thread would be transfered over to the new forums for a while. So instead I decided to get as many games in as I could and just do a general update. My last post had Minnesota leading the AL Central with a record of 16-9. Well, they are now 18-14. Reality finally set in, and the Twins realized they're not supposed to be that good. The offense has cooled off, and the pitching, which was leading several categories, is really starting to get shaky. The series against LA can only be described as a disappointment, as a hot Twins team should be able to beat an Angels team that is still lacking any identity. Instead, the Twins only managed to win the opening game of the series. The Guardians played to their strengths and relied on their superb bullpen to take three of four games from Minnesota, including a walk off win in extras after Jhoan Duran blew a save in the ninth inning. Cleveland is definitely a favorite to compete for the division, as is Detroit, who swept Minnesota earlier in the year. It's still early, and every team will experience ups and downs; but Minnesota knows it has to be as consistent as possible if they want to make the playoffs this year.

Here are the standings as of May 2

I'm feeling like the biggest idiot right now. I wanted to clean up my save states yesterday because I had a few test files still there and instead of deleting the "Mets" save I picked my Mariners one. I didn't use the Cloud Save feature, so I don't have a backup. The only other save was from the beginning of the season.

I was very close to throwing my PS5 out of the window yesterday.

I had an issue when trying to warm up a pitcher from the bullpen, I couldn't get back out of that screen or do anything else but it did let me bring in a pitcher (he was cold) but that was my only option.

Stinks it corrupted your file. I might tread lightly until they fix this bug.

Texas Rangers Season 2 Update MOM

40 Games in to the season and the Texas Rangers are 23-17 . They are in first place by 3 games. The story has been the offense. Corey Seagar continues his incredible start as he now has hit 17hr's and leads the league in batting average. He is number 1 in MVP voting while his teammate Jake Burger is 3rd. FA acquisitions Cedric Mullins and Kyle Tucker have also been producing. My pitching has finally stabilized as Zack Jackson has become a reliable closer. Starting pitching has been another story. Degrom and Singer were DFA as both were aging and having terrible seasons. Rocker was sent down. Bradford and Matt Manning are at the top of the rotation. Manning has a ERA under 2 and has been impressive. If we continue to stabilize the pitching and this offense continues to mash it could lead to a big season in Texas

Tough times for Cal while Rickey's back on track!

                  Cal Ripken Jr. – 6’4 - 205 – 3B
                  Team: Harrisburg Senators (Washington Nationals)
                  18 years old - AA - 61 overall
                  Top 100 Prospects: 4th / MLB ETA: 2026

                  Last Series: 6G / 4 for 24 / 0 HR / 0 RBI
                  2025 Stats: 21G / .322 BA / .365 OBP / .556 SLG / .920 OPS / 9 2B / 22 RBI

Performance: Another nightmare series for Ripken at the plate. Not much solid contact, and when it was, it found gloves of fielders. “I’m getting the hell out of Reading as fast I can, this wasn’t a nice one and it’s going to garbage, if you ask me.” said the 3B.

Team: On that part, it was better. 4 wins out of 6 games, and except for one game, the pitching was stronger. “We we’re better overall, and that series win was much needed, especially for our pitching staff. Now we must duplicate it at home against Richmond.” said team manager.

                  Senators: 13W – 14L – 2.0 GB – 5th in Eastern League Southwest

                  Next: vs Richmond Flying Squirrels (15W – 12L - 0.0 GB – 1st in EL Southwest)

                  **********

                  Rickey Henderson – 5’10 - 180 – LF
                  Team: Midland RockHounds (Athletics)
                  18 years old - AA - 60 overall
                  Top 100 Prospects: 3rd / MLB ETA: 2026

                  Last Series: 6G / 12 for 26 / 1 HR / 9 RBI
                  2025 Stats: 27G / .315 BA / .358 OBP / .514 SLG / .872 OPS / 6 HR / 21 RBI

Performance: The roller coaster ride keeps going with Rickey. Back in Midland, he was all over the place with timely hitting, and productive 9 of the 33 runs for the RockHounds. “Rickey felt better and that was evident at the plate. It would be nice if Rickey would show more consistency, you know.” said the young LF.

Team: “When you score 33 runs, you’re not supposed to end up on the losing side of a series. Our pitching was solid, so there’s no surprise we won 5 of those 6 games.” emphasized team manager. It was the first time the RockHounds won a series at home and the fans appreciated the display.

                  RockHounds: 16W – 11L – 0.0 GB – 1st in Texas League South
Next: at Corpus Christi Hooks (12W – 15L, 4.0 GB – 4th in TL South)

                  **********

                  Due up:
Ryne Sandberg (2B) - Minnesota Twins
Ichiro Suzuki (RF) – Houston Astros
"Ice hockey is a form of disorderly conduct in which the score is kept." - Doug Larson

I had this happen. It seemed to be because of an injured player involvement or something. Resolved it the same way as you.

I think i should've put this thread here to begin with. I have a scouting tool that can help franchise players sort out and compare their prospects they have scouted. If anyone is interested let me know. I'll share the Google sheet with you and maybe you guys can help me make this better. I think you'll like it if you're a person that likes to dive deep into the scouting aspect.

                        White Sox 2025 Franchise

Welcome to the 2025 White Sox franchise. Hopefully this series will last. I'm going to be a lot more careful with saves going forward. The White Sox go into the season with one of the worst teams on paper but some bright spots in the farm. Definitely will be a rebuilding year with most guys on one year getting traded. Maybe will look to trade Luis Robert Jr. If he's having a good year.

                        Lineup:
                        Josh Rojas
                        Austin Slater
                        Mike Tauchman
                        Luis Robert Jr.
                        Andrew Benintendi
                        Andrew Vaughn
                        Lenyn Sosa
                        Matt Thais
                        Brooks Baldwin

                        Bench:
                        Miguel Vargas
                        Korey Lee
                        Michael A. Taylor
                        Gage Workman

                        Rotation:
                        Sean Burke
                        Davis Martin
                        Jonathan Cannon
                        Shane Smith
                        Bryse Wilson

                        Bullpen:
                        Mike Vasil
                        Penn Murfee
                        Gus Varland

                        James Karinchak

                        Top 10 Prospects:
                        Noah Shultz
                        Hagen Smith

Well until the sites up fully functional again I think my updates will be few and far between. Its just too much as far as slow page uploads and continuing to be logged out. Was hoping connecting photos to my franchise would be easier but so far the attachment adds seem to be an eye sore for me personally as I tried it on ,my previous psot and it created an odd photo at the bottom to show what attachments were included. Just took up too much space, and dont get me started on the @ being difficult as it continues to tag people IDK. But you know what maybe I am just old and afraid of change lol, but I digress.... back to The Braves.

Atlanta can't complain much to go 5-3 vs two of the top teams in not only The NL but all of baseball in San Diego and Los Angeles. Especially with Acuna and Murphy out. Strider returned after injury ended his season last season and had a decent 1st game in San Diego. Didn't get the win, but didn't lose it either. They head to Atlanta to open the 2025 home season against Miami before welcoming NL East rivals Philadelphia for 3

Astros suffer another series loss as June enters it's last week

The Astros have now lost 5 of 6 of their series in June (tied Athletics 2-2) and are overall 6-14 on the month. Even worse, the last two series have been against the two teams trailing the Astros in the AL West division. As of now, Houston is 9 back in the division and 3.0 back in the Wildcard standings. Everything can be pointed toward when it comes to how the losses are coming. For instance, game one against the Angels saw Houston's ace, Framber Valdez give up three runs in just 1.1 innings before he left the game with shoulder soreness (no factor moving forward). The Astros were able to tie it by the 4th inning with an rbi single from Altuve and a two run homerun from Jeremy Pena (10). The Angels then ended up taking the lead again in the fifth before the Astros took their first of the game in the sixth inning. Jorge Soler hit his 13th homerun of the season in the 7th inning to tie it yet again and eventually, Bryan Abreu gave up the eventual game winning run in the 8th.

The second game saw the struggles of Hunter Brown continue as he gave up four runs in the first inning. A number the Astros could never catch up to as they ended up losing 5-3.

Game three started in the opposite direction as by the 5th inning, the Astros led it 7-1 and eventually won it, 10-7.

The Astros dont really have any help in the minor leagues and its really not even clear what needs to change.

Either way, the Astros have two more series to get a win in the month. First of the two will see the Astros return home to face the Phillies (49-29/1st NL East).

                              Cardinals offseason wrap up
The Cardinals have wrapped up the 2025/2026 offseason without making any big splashes in free agency, but still signing much needed help to the pitching staff. The Cardinals made attempts at the bigger free agents, but given last year and the past three seasons, there weren't too many that were interested. The Cardinals had to be creative with using some of their depth to trade for pieces and then search for quality mid-tier free agents. The biggest signing this winter was a re-signing with the Cards bringing back Ryan Helsley to anchor the bullpen. Cards got Helsley to return on a 3 year $51.5M deal.

                              Notable additions:

                              LHP Jordan Montgomery
                              RHP Chad Green
                              RHP Luke Weaver
                              LHP Sam Henteges (trade CLE)
                              RHP Dustin May (trade LAD)
                              RHP Diego Castillo
                              RHP Griffin Canning

The area the Cardinals weren't able to address as well as they had hoped was the outfield. The Cardinals will rely on the same candidates to fill out the 3 spots for the 2026 season as the Cardinals were turned down by several players this winter (Harrison Bader, Alex Verdugo, Kyle Tucker, and Cedric Mullins)

All in all though the Cardinals are excited for the upcoming season as they are hopeful that the pitching additions along with the young talent they relied on last year on the mound, will help push this team back towards being postseason contenders, or at the very least a .500 ball club. The changeover with the managerial staff, with the hiring of AJ Hinch, is another reason for excitement for Spring Training to begin.

The Cardinals will report to Florida in a few weeks to begin the 2026 campaign.

Here is a list of the notable 2025/2026 free agent signings:

One struggles, the other one isn't!!!

                                Ryne Sandberg – 6’1 - 175 – 2B
Team: Wichita Wind Surge (Minnesota Twins)
                                18 years old - AA - 62 overall
                                Top 100 Prospects: 1st / MLB ETA: 2025

                                Last Series: 6G / 7 for 25 / 2 HR / 4 RBI
                                2025 Stats: 27G / .252 BA / .308 OBP / .384 SLG / .672 OPS / 6 2B / 16 RBI

Performance: With Eric Overstreet on site, farm director of the Twins organization, the first 3 games we’re about “here we go again” for Sandberg. 0 for 12, and the only thing to show was he could sustain a heater in the back! Everything changed in the last 3 games with a 7 for 13, 2 homeruns and 4 RBI’s. “About damn time I get to hit the ball like I can. I’ll build on that, for sure!” said Sandberg after the series.

Team: Like their 2B, the Wind Surge bounced back in that one, winning 4 out of 6 games, and playing much better. The two loss we’re mainly on pitching, but except those 2 games, the pitching was strong and the hitting well balanced. The Wind Surge can continue to improve, visiting the Naturals in the next series.

                                Wind Surge: 13W – 14L – 5.0 GB – 3rd in Texas League North
                                Next: at NW Arkansas Naturals (15W – 12L – 3.0 GB – 2nd in TL North)

                                Ichiro Suzuki – 5’11” - 175 – RF
Team: Corpus Christi Hooks (Houston Astros)
                                18 years old - AA - 60 overall
                                Top 100 Prospects: 7th / MLB ETA: 2026

                                Last Series: 6G / 11 for 22 / 3 2B / 2 RBI
                                2025 Stats: 27G / .417 BA / .475 OBP / .611 SLG / 1.086 OPS / 6 2B / 15 RBI

Performance: Sadly, the hitting streak ended to 25 games, but nevermind, it was a good series for Ichiro. Team manager’s still amazed by the way he handle himself at bat: “Righties, lefties, it makes no difference. He’s patient, he’s hitting the ball to every part of the field. Contact, power, it’s a charm having to watch this guy perform”.

Team: It would be an understatement to say the Hooks we’re run out of town by the Missions. After winning the first game 6-1, it was all about the home team in the next five. “We can be better, that’s for sure. We didn’t bring our A game in here, and the results we’re what they should be.” said Ichiro.

                                Hooks: 12W – 15L – 4.0 GB – 5th in Texas League South
                                Next: vs Midland RockHounds (14W – 13L, 2.0 GB – 3rd in TL South)
