Need 4 saves with Goose
Need 72 saves with CP for Fingers

Just playing conquest now to get saves

After pulling Scherzer, I decided I might as well go for Ruth. I've already finished Belle, Williams doesn't look too hard, and selling Scherzer will pay for the exchanges for Ruth and Williams. Not looking forward to grinding 200 innings with the Diamond Ruth, but at least I know it will be well worth it. Can anyone tell me what the other two missions for Diamond Ruth are?

Here's some of my grinding I need to embark on:

Need 14 saves to complete Nen and it'll unlock Immortal Wagner
Need 9 hits to complete Alomar and I'll have Immortal Robinson

What I need for Rollie Fingers diamond:
33 saves & 66 K's with silver/bronze/common
111 saves and 222 K's with diamond/gold

I may never complete this

What I need for Albert Belle diamond:
71 H with diamond/gold RF
264 H, 90 XBH, 49 HR, 120 RBI, 4 SB with diamond gold LF

What I need for Sabathia:
150 K, 3 W, 1 CG with silver/bronze/common
289 K, 10 W, 9 CG with diamond/gold
Need to do the 86 diamond mission when I get it + 92 diamond

So I'm pretty damn far from anybody after I get Alomar/Nen done

I've also started a CAP C because Piazza just isn't doing an amazing job. Would like to give Jackie Robinson a chance at 2B. That speed in the lineup would be nice.

I gave up on Gossage almost immediately because that Fingers grind is so ridiculous. I just about gouged my eyes out just getting the saves to finish Nen. I can't do that again on an even larger scale. Besides, I have Gagne and he's essentially an Immortal. I feel dumb for wasting stubs on the Gossage exchanges before the final arcs dropped, but I just can't bear doing 150 more conquest games.

The CC grind is also pretty crazy, but the Diamond is very good and the Immortal Ryan is ridiculous. You'll have two end game starting pitchers when you're done, so it's worth it.

Havent actually played a game in like a week, buying and selling packs was more fun.

Getting back into it now. I still cant get myself to do the exchanges needed though haha. It just seems like such a waste of stubs

Sucked it up and knocked the Nen/Alomar programs so welcome to the squad Jackie & Wagner!!!

Who am I kidding...I'll probably just grind more for that Belle. I'm only like 250 H with LF away. Those stats can go towards Sabathia/Ryan...yep this is a problem lol

I agree. In only going after 1 reliever and I was hitting Wagner hard early but was sonehow closer to Goose so he’s the guy. The fingers missions do suck but I’m just grinding conquest that has been giving me Gossage stats and Fingers stats together. I’m no longer in a hurry because when I push i play awful. Conquest allows me to just roll with it. I manipulate a few things to get saves but since I don’t need Same Gane stats I can just roll and at the end i will get a 10 pack

Grinding conquest can be fun in small doses because it's not stressful. Let me know how Goose is! I haven't gotten to use Wagner yet, but I'm excited to try him out in RS.

Those end of conquest 10 packs have been terrible for me haha. I've completed the board 9 times now. I don't think I've even pulled a gold player from those packs. It's still free stubs, but it makes it a little less sweet knowing I'm about to be buried under common players.

I came here to post that in my first game with Ruth, I homered in his first two at bats...then I couldn't get a hit with him again. Now I either can't get him selected or if I do, get a homer

I finally unlocked Belle and of course I hit pretty "meh" with his card.

I did manage to get immortal Nolan Ryan and his card is ridiculous. Absolutely love it.

Grinding is always something I just keep doing to myself though, need 200 more K's to unlock Diamond Fergie and about 100 more hits to unlock Diamond Johnny Bench.

The other night I finally finished the Reds awful pitching though and unlocked Diamond Johnny Cueto, loving that card.

Just a heads up the Diamond Bench missions are lengthy. I don’t hit well with any of the Bench cards and the better the card the worse I seemed to hit with him. Something about sone players stance and swing that makes hitting with some more of a challenge. I need 19 mire hits with him 1 HR and 9 RBI to unlock immortal
Piazza. Hope I hit better with that since I’m hearing bad things about it. I did hit well with the Diamond Piazza.

Just got 100 TPA left till I get Chase Headley to start finishing the Padres program. Finished Phillies last night and am working towards finishing the final mission for Boston, Washington, and Kansas City.

Still got one more complete game for AS Seaver, 150 IP left for Babe, 3 more games to finish Nats epic, and 5 games left with IV Sabathia. After all that I just need 190 more strikeouts with silver pitchers for Fergie. Then the Fergie mission and Seaver is mine.


The end is almost here.

Hope to someday unlock the Chipper and Griffey immortals since they were my favorite players growing up. Not sure I play enough to get there though but will keep grinding for them when I can.

Hallelujah !!!! I finally got Albert Belle. Finished up the C.C , Alomar and Larkin programs , Alomar has turned into a good card to use after i struggled at the start with him. The diamond Bench though is absolutely amazing and probably my favourite card so far.

Working on Grienke now while finishing up the pirates and padres epics. Once i i get that diamond Grienke I'll finally focus on events and ranked season's.
