That honestly might come down to how much harder you hit the ball on Rookie than on All-Star (or rather, how much more frequently you hit it harder). I don't think the physics are different, though it could give off that appearance. Ball is going to sidespin more the harder you pull it.

That is the thing. It looks slower on rookie. As if it has more time to curve. The hits looked like ping pong balls on All Star that didn't have the time to curve.

Brad Miller's leg kick in the batter's box is the most annoying thing ever. I bet you strike zone camera guys can even see his leg floating in on that camera too

In my current lineup I'm working on stupid things like De Aza's BB/SB, Nava's 2 2Bs, Duda's HR/3RBI, and various pitching stuff. It's annoying tbh

In what's been the most maddening grind thus far, I was finally able to get to and beat the Marlins in Conquest Extreme in 3 turns. Diamond Orel Hershiser is finally mine! Now I'm considering...gulp...trying to beat Conquest Extreme. The stub and ticket rewards are tremendous. Plus my all-time Indians squad is lacking in the outfield, so plugging in that Matt Kemp until the Albert Belle program arrives would be pretty awesome. Even his rookie card from regular Conquest was really nice.

I'm also almost done with the hitting goals in the Indians team epic, and I'm starting to plug in some Tigers players for that epic so I can get Victor Martinez. Looks like the hardest part of the epic grind is just going to be getting to the innings pitched threshold.

Have pretty much all of the basic flashback programs done apart from Neil Walker and Matt Joyce who i only need another 4 rbi's with.
Walker is proving tough as i can usually only get two hits with him.

Am going through normal conquest again to try and finish a few of the career arc missions (lee smith saves, saberhagen wins etc).

Just trying to stack my lineup with as many players that go towards missions as possible.

Conquest extreme scares the hell out of me, as i struggle with anything above all star.

Also need to try and make stubs, anyone got a good way to make stubs?

Purchase a gold autographed ball. Exchange it for a bronze pack of hats. Sell them all. If you luck out and get a Marlins Red Sox etc they go for 250 or so. You can make 700-1000 stubs per pack depending what you pull...

Got to 50% in the live series collection missions. Only have 3 more teams without a diamond on them which won’t get me to the next mystery player at 60%. So gonna take a break from collections and try and make a run for WS now.

Game was on All-Star - I'm fielding a 73 OVR team to clear some stat missions while just being able to have some fun.

I'm struggling to stay motivated to play DD tbh, I feel as though I've done most of the even remotely "fun" things to do and all that is left is the really tedious grinds (IP, PA, beating teams on rookie a lot) and the stuff that's just buying stuff (exchanges, collections).

Think I might be going full time on franchise before too long as I'm just not feeling it this year. I only need 20 more holds to get 50% Gossage, 100 more for Wagner and about 20 strikeouts for Gibson, but after that I think I'll take a break.

I currently have 228 pages of completed orders, despite not "playing the market" at all and only buying about 4 players who I actually wanted. That kind of sums up this year for me, endless buying of stuff I don't actually want.

Right there with ya man. Just edited the OS rosters a bit and started my Braves franchise. Think that looks way more appealing than grinding for a billion plate appearances or innings just for the pleasure of trading hats and bobbleheads in for a mediocre card Ill never use. DD is seeming like a pretty big swing and a miss this year.

Well I had been just exclusively using only Mets players in Diamond Dynasty games (have them all except Thor and Degrom). Online and offline! I stink, but somehow have a 11-9 record using this team. Very rewarding when playing teams full of diamonds and winning. Few walk off hr's with Jay Bruce where you would of thought it was an actual game with my fist pump in excitement. LOL

Anyway.

I got sucked into beating conquest, which I did, but still have some missions to complete to unlock extreme.

While doing the above, I noticed all the Mets gold cards (Carter, Hernandez, Matz, Familia, Ryan, Piazza, Wright, and Seaver).

I grinded it out a bit, picked up Pelfrey, Duda from those missions etc. Then slowly moved into getting the guys above. Also landed a silver Wheeler as well.

As of now I got Matz, Familia, Carter! I'm 18 innings pitched away from Hernandez. I'm 90 strikeouts away from Ryan. Those I'll get easy.

I wont ever see the David Wright card because you need to have Thor and Degrom to complete the Mets. If I get them that will be a minor miracle. I might be able to pull off the Piazza grind because just need 50% to get this card.

I'll never see Seaver. LOL

But after a week or so messing around I will have all the Mets cards that i possibly could get without too much of a headache. If I get the others icing on the cake.

Finished up a few more position player programs, only have Nava, Hanigan, and Salty left. Now moving on to player programs, Carter, Molitor, Torre, and Williams.

I think my goal is to finish the Cubs Team Epic and Conquest Extreme. I have already shifted some of my playing time over to Franchise mode in place of the time I was spending in DD.

I might go back into DD a bit more when new content arrives, especially when the Frank Thomas card is released.

The end game for me is to create the best all-time Cleveland Indians lineup possible without spending any real money. I'm well on my way, and right now I'm focused on:

-Indians Team Epic (Diamond Vizquel)
-Tigers Team Epic (Diamond V Mart)
-Completing Indians Live Series (5 diamonds from series plus Diamond Bob Feller collection reward)
-Conquest Extreme (I want those stubs!)

I'm hoping that once I'm done with all of that, the Albert Belle program will drop and then the grind will begin again! Once I complete the epics and the live series collection, I'll start playing regularly online and mix in some Conquest Extreme.

We have the same mindset it seams. Are you using any players cards that played for the Indians or actually using DD Indians cards, having the logo on it etc of the Tribe and not another team?
