Let's see I think I need 9 saves with my CAP to get to the 82...then 8 saves with Axford...then 8 saves with Hoffman's silver card.

So damn I need to play at least 25 more games to just knock these out! Ouch

Pretty sure you can do conquest for those? I mean it's that many games either way but 3 inning games are gonna go a whole lot faster.

Just wait til you get Hoffman's Diamond. Of course if you don't plan on doing Gossage it really doesn't matter, but yeah, 20S, 60IP and 75K is nothing to sneeze at.

Sorry to keep spamming questions about created players, but can equipment put you over 100 in attributes like immortals, or do you get stopped at 99?

I was nerd enough to make a spreadsheet of equipment and cost and what my player will look like after I boost it up. Looks like the "contact" route is the dumbest way to go, balanced seems like it might be best but if you can go to 100+ in power, why not go the power route......

I got lucky with that Pujols one. My very first swing with him was a soft shot to the gap that the CF did that stupid animation where he gets the ball then gathers slowly. Slid in just ahead of the throw, and got the HR with my last AB. I was so happy, because I knew it would probably take forever to get another double with him.

The Diamond Hoffman is incredible. That changeup...my god. 100% worth the grind, though the mission you outline is ridiculous. Oh well, I've decided to go for Gossage so I'm grinding those innings and saves in Conquest games. I just looked though every program I haven't done and I've got no interest in grinding any more current Immortals or Career Arcs. I've got Griffey and Wagner done as far as they can be, and now I'm just waiting for the programs to get their Immortals and the arrival of any of the following: Belle/Lofton/Thome/Ramirez/Baerga/Sandy Alomar/Roberto Alomar

Neil Walker is irritating me!! Has to get 4 hits in one game. I keep starting games 1-3 or 2-4 and it's really annoying. Can't get over the two hit hump.

I need one more save with Axford then 8 with Hoffman. Then I need to wrap up the jerseys and hats on Hoffman. Def not too far away at this point.

Also got a nice pull from the daily log in this morning: diamond bat that netted me 14k stubs after tax.

Some other things I'm working on:

Vlad collection: going to try and get 50% complete so I get the Felix + Murphy. I'm at 20% now I think. Taking the easy route with completing the cheap teams and doing a cheap 25 player of each team. That is 30% plus I need to finish 10 teams fully.

After I knock that out I'll grind ranked seasons to try and get to a level where I get an 85-89 diamond. A good pull there would be huge.

Went ahead and impulse bought my way to 50% and got the Posada/Murphy/Felix/Rodney

Now I don't need to worry about progressing that any further. No way I pursue the Vlad as much as I was a fan of him. I took the path of least resistance to 50% and don't really care about that 91 Tulo.

Next goal is Hoffman then I think ranked seasons is calling my name!

Chase took me a 4 games to get, found it was easier to get doubles against left handers. This Pujols one though is killing me , it's either a long homerun or a weak single.

Edit: got the Pujols one done the first game after i originally posted. Just need 25 hits and 3 homeruns to get Hardware Pujols.

started at 595 last night and went on a tear and ended at 822 when I was about to pass out. I was in a zone all night. hopefully I get World Series tonight!

Jesus. Either you played like 10-12 games or got lucky and got matched up against guys 100 points higher than you. Once I get to the 600s I only ever seem to get 20 points a win.

Finally flipped my way to completing the Griffey exchanges, talk about tedious.

Anyways, are they any other AS Outfielders besides Joyce & Ashburn? Need to start on Doby now.
