Re: What are you working on thread
Only a handful of at bats and a few doubles away from completing the Orioles epic which will give me 5 done to put towards one of the immortals. Will probably put it towards Griffey because i still haven't unlocked hos AS card.
Wasn't going to do anymore team epics but i was going through my epics and saw that i already had 20 + saves and just over 70 innings pitched with the Brewers so i may as well slowly finish that. The hitting stats are easy enough to get through if you stack your team with players all from ome team.Comment

Nice! I just finished Napoli today giving myself 5 team epics done, and only doing 5. The only worthwhile ones I seen and did were the Brewers, Indians, A’s, Mariners, and Rangers. I’ll most likely put it towards Ruth since all I need in exchanges for him is the hat exchange. Just waiting on that last program and Immortal Ruth is mineComment

Re: What are you working on thread
I'm honestly impressed at how little I can produce with cards that I need single game stats for, but how hard I rake with random guys to fill the lineup. For the heck of it I put Jorge Alfaro behind the plate. 5-5 3HR 2-2B. 87 2001 Pujols? 2-5 2 singles. AS Utley? 0-5. HW Ripken? 1-6 1HR. BO Daniel Nava? 0-5. Rookie Josh Donaldson? 3-5 with 2 3BComment

Re: What are you working on thread
Finally hit the stupid 2B, HR, 2R, 5RBI with Pujols after managing just about every other combination possible. He's hit close to 40 homers for me in trying to get this done, probably about 5 doubles.
That means I've done all the single game and cumulative missions available at this point except I still need one save with Axford to unlock the Hoffman card and it's mission, I'm only halfway along the ridiculous Breakout Gibson grind and I've not bought the hats and jerseys required for the 50% Babe card and his mission.
Struggling for motivation to play tbh, much more so than any previous year.Comment

Re: What are you working on thread
Guys.....in relation to pitching stats grind, am I correct in thinking that the innings pitched requirements are only met when the pitcher pitches that full inning in the game.
For example - for both Lee Smith and Trevor Hoffman, they have pitched partial innings in a game on multiple occasions and so their stats indicate that they have pitched more innings than what is reflecting in their program.
Is this the same in the team epics grinds? That an inning only counts when a pitcher from that team completes a full inning within a game and the increment 0.1 and 0.2 innings don't also add together to contribute to the ultimate total?
If so....that is so dumb!

Re: What are you working on thread
Finally finished the hardware Ripken mission. Didn't think it'd happen , now i only got the extremely painful Jackie Robinsons double and triple in the same match left for hitting missions.
Just focusing on pitching missions now, still need 30+ innings with Jack Morris (even though I've almost doubled the wins and strikeouts that were needed) to finish his program which will then unlock gold Seaver after i finished the 5 complete games with IV Seaver last night. Still got 100 more to go with Brewers pitchers and I'm halfway through the Hoffman arc (just doing the 3 inning saves with him every game).Comment

I see you mention the pitching missions that you're grinding through. Is my comment/query above correct? The the innings only count if you complete a full inning within game (ie. partial innings don't accumulate and so are lost as if that player didn't pitch at all).

Re: What are you working on thread
Finished the Rangers team epic for Napoli, and from what I can tell I've acquired every high-end Indians player, past and present, that's currently in the game. I've got a full starting lineup and pitching rotation full of Indians...except Matt Kemp, because it took forever to get him and I can't bring myself to bench him yet.
I'm officially out of things I want to grind, so it's time to jump into online play as woeful as that sounds based on the reviews. I've had about enough of playing the CPU on rookie to get stats. Hopefully tomorrow's roster update brings the gift of the Albert Belle program! Lindor and Jose Ramirez are also having big months, so one of them could get a juiced up Diamond when POTM time comes. Saving up stubs just in case.End Game Lineup: http://2kmtcentral.com/17/lineups/10...ine-end-lineup

Re: What are you working on thread
Cheers Oscar. That is so incredibly frustrating and makes zero sense at all. I mean....the stats are there in the player stats view. All it needs is for the two to correlate which I'd assume that would be a pretty basic thing....probably even simpler than however it is set up to track now.
I had been doing lots of partial innings to boost the right and left handed holds required for those programs. Have now only just realised that while it has been helping the holds it hasn't been helping the innings pitched.

You're going pretty strongly through these programs mate. #1 in Australia, haha!

I think you are correct, when i was doing the Lee Smith program i noticed there was a 8 inning difference between his stats and the mission stats. Absolutely stupid that they can't get that right.Comment
