Even by the usual, terrible ripoff standards, this Potm really stands out as being absolutely terrible. They've barely upgraded anyone to be even bordering on useful and the reward for getting them all is a diamond Verlander that isn't exactly a whole lot different from his newly upgraded live series diamond. Not sure why anyone would pay the hundreds of thousands of stubs going after these guys. How Scooter Gennett has gotten such a poor upgrade after such a ridiculous month is beyond me, same for Siranthony Dominguez having BB/9 in the low 60's despite not walking anyone all month.

Really poor effort all round

Corey kluber is great and much cheaper than that group you listed, but I'm in the same boat and looking to pick up someone similar

I've got Kluber and love him. Right now the rotation looks like this:

This is really starting to come off as a joke at this point. The countless hrs many of us have put in grinding away for the eventual immortals, yet in return we get a few scraps thrown here and there with a “you’ll need these for future arcs”. It doesn’t even feel rewarding for what we’ve completed thus far. A roadmap would’ve been great. Be upfront about it. In turn, reading various boards there’s a growing frustration from the community for these immortals to be released. Give us one every two/three weeks at least. I’m already growing bored and let’s be honest, there’s going to be a drop off in a few months when Madden is released.

Hahaha, I wish I could be at peace with spending it all on packs, but I haven't spent any real money on the game and I hoard stubs as much as possible. It took a lot for me to even take a flier on a POTM pack today, even though I have stubs to spare (I struck out, of course). How are you liking Trout now that you finally have him?

Trout is the best and I do not regret selling the farm to add him

He hits the ball like he plays racquetball. You can tell people are shook to even throw it anywhere in the strike zone

Just a heads up - the new POTM mission to beat the Astros on All-Star or above actually requires strictly All-Star. I beat them on Legend once and it didn't pop, then beat them again on All-Star and it did.

This game is evil when it comes to AI and needing one last item for a mission. Daniel Nava is the WORST, get 2 doubles in 3 ab's, next time up....good/good rip a liner and freeking Carlos Santana pulls a Lebron James and leaps up to knock it into the air....where he proceeds to pick it up from the ground and still beat Nava to first. OK, whateves, then he rips a good/good liner to left center, oh thats caught on a dive...WTF. Then I intentional walk 10 runs in the 9th to go extras. 11th inning, get 2 quick outs on the mound, hard grounder to first...OHHHH LAY, into right, right fielder proceeds to airmail the cut and that run comes around to score. AI up 11-10 at this point, come up to the plate 3 quick outs, leaving....you guessed it, NAVA on deck....just no words, I may burn the whole place to the ground if they touch my stapler.

Yup, need a shutout with Sanchez, no hit the Rockies through 8 and 2/3rds innings and then like clockwork, the out of nowhere no doubt homer by pinch hitter Raimel Tapia (power about 25 I believe). Happens far too often

Pulling off tough missions while trying to challenge myself feels so good. Completed the FS Romero program with this performance vs the CPU on Legend:



This win also gave me a handful more stubs that I needed to finish the souvenir exchange and unlock the 92 All-Star Gary Carter. Inroads to Piazza if I choose to go there, but my main focus is still on Ruth.

Nah, it was the first pitch painting the corner slider that they hit about 50 rows back.

The worst is when they reach by error, you just know the next guy is set to hit a homer and there is pretty much nothing to be done about it, as l like you say, even if you throw nothing but perfect pitches they will foul them off until it decides your well timed meter changeup should in fact just go straight down the middle

Made a tough decision today and sold LS Kris Bryant for 75k. Stub balance is now about 120k and I'm working on the new 6 missions. I feel like in 2 weeks we get career arcs/immortals finally. Definitely among the disappointed group in lack of "schedule" with the immortals.

Knocked out the 20 event wins and have the new Upton but haven't had an AB with him yet.
