Its a complete joke. I have nearly no stubs because Im constantly forced to buy these useless items. When the arcs come out, I very well might take a look at what I need, the prices of souvenirs, and just quit DD.

Im a diamond level 58, with 47 pages of game history(47 pages x 14 games per page=658 games), yet Im sitting here with 3500 stubs with JT realmuto being the most expensive card I bought for like 1500 stubs when the game first came out. Every stub Ive gotten in this game has gone to souvenirs or players that I buy and then exchange for nothing.

Playing games doesnt reward you with stubs. Missions dont reward you with stubs because they got rid of the stat missions. The daily log in bonus of a minor league stadium or common free agent card I get everyday is nothing. All of the souvenirs in souvenir packs I open are for teams that I dont need souvenirs for so they are worthless.

Yup, the stub rewards for missions rarely if ever even cover the cost of the exchange for that mission, it's a complete con. This year has either been hideously misjudged, or more likely, a complete cash grab

Gotta be one of 3 things:

1. Lucky
2. Really good at the game
3. Spend money

I've had a little of 1&2 so far. You can also grind the events for some stubs.

I honestly dont care about getting the reward cards, just like completing the missions. As an offline player only, a team full of silvers and golds(and even bronze cards if they have favorable inside edge for that day) is all I need. Alot of times, especially for Diamond and sometimes Gold position player programs, I'll do the stat missions and never do the exchanges.

This weekend, I tried to get ready for the immortals release. I already had Griffey as far as he can go, I have Ruth and Pujols as far as they can go minus jersey exchanges, but I'm going to use team epics for those, so I focused on Ryan and Gibson exchanges. I had to do Gibson's hats and jerseys and Ryan's jerseys. I completed Gibson's jerseys and hats and am about 80% done with Ryan's jerseys. I went from around 70,000 stubs to 12,000. I don't mind the stub cost at all, look at the cost of some of the flawless reward cards like Banks, and these immortals are far better than even those. I just wish there was an option of paying 50,000 or so stubs in lieu of the souvenir exchanges. Putting in hundreds of buy orders in the marketplace is more annoying than the actual stub cost.

Exactly. The hat exchanges are Terrible. You have to devote way too much time to buying a bunch of items. Annoying as hell

Been frustrated hitting the ball, hof difficulty in CS is no damn joke. Been up and down, sitting at 852 now

I'm just taking a chance and legit investing all of my stubs into souvenirs. I just want the new Career Arc's and eventually Immortals. Yesterday I went on a spending spree and completed the bobblehead program and the reward was the Joe Carter. The plus side to this is I'll be able to use all of these bobble heads in various exchanges. I probably have 250 bobble heads in my inventory total.

Sadly I feel like this won't even be enough. I'm sitting on 30k stubs which I'm going to buy buy buy souvenirs with and if I need to I'll sell Gagne but I would rather not.

Waiting for Friday kinda has me on pins and needles...plus Friday is when we get RS rewards too...so that'll be an awesome pack to open up.

I've sunk about 125K into souvenirs over the last week. I have enough for Thomas, Schmidt & Belle as soon as they're released, and plenty left over. I'm genuinely intriged as to how the market is going to react on Friday.

I have Griffey, Chipper, Seaver, & Goose's exchanges complete as well.

Just need to finish Buddy Bell & James Shields and I'm ready for Friday.

C Bench & SS Larkin: I'm pretty screwed on these two. It sucks because I really want Cal too. Time will tell if I can get this.
1B Thomas & LF Belle: I am optimistic but they could really jack up the costs. I stocked these two pretty well. I really think I'll get Belle immediately and Thomas I'll be close.
3B Schmidt: FML. I really really really want this for Chipper. I have 13 gold uniforms, 10 bronze hats, 6 silver uniforms. The hats are going to be a problem and I virtually have like what...4000 uniform points? That might be close...

SP Greinke: 54 silver AZ unis, 6 gold unis and 72 hats...that better freaking be enough!
SP CC: I'm pretty stacked on CLE stuff so hopefully I have enough extra to get this done.
SP Jenkins: Not feeling good on this one
RP Nen: Not feeling good here either

Side note: sitting at 895 on ranked seasons...1 W and I get WS. Gonna rage if I lose my next game lol

There are rumors of Duke Snider being the CF for the arcs. I'm hoping they release some souvenir packs to buy with stubs to help keep some of the costs down on them.

Still trying to complete Hanigan out of the old position player programs. I either get 2 RBI's and no double, or hit the double early & then choke when it comes to RBI situations. Also noticed that pretty much the only time I get intentional walked in this game is when Hanigan comes to the plate with runners on 2nd and 3rd and just needing an RBI to complete the mission. It has happened a couple of times where they walk Hanigan to get to Diamond Pujols.....what BS!!!!

Other than that just trying to nail the newer position programs. Won't have them all done before the Friday career arc release but won't be far off.

Not sure I'll be able to afford many of the exchanges for the new career arc's unless the market cools off after going nuts straight away. I've still got bobbleheads and balls that I can put into the exchanges so hopefully will get some good stuff to use or sell in that.

I also went out on a limb and got a bunch of Dbacks stuff this week as they were the cheapest.....so I am really hoping that Alomar is the 2B (and that his DBacks stint is included for the exchanges) or that there is a Dbacks need somewhere. I checked just now and the Dbacks stuff has already gone up a heap since yesterday so I can see that this market is going to be a rocky ride in the coming days/weeks.

Actually.....it only just dawned on me that with Greinke being mentioned as one of the Arc's in the post above that I will indeed be able to use or cash in on the DBacks investments I made. Still.....I'd prefer that they can be used for an Alomar as I'm a Jays fan and he'd be my priority out of all of them.

Had a few minutes at the beginning of my work shift this morning and compiled some point values (combining hats/bobbleheads/autographed balls/jerseys) for each career arc player.

Bench & Larkin: 2,700 points (makes me dread CIN souvenirs even more now)
Frank Thomas: 11,300 points
Mike Schmidt: 6,100 points
Albert Belle: 29,200 points
Zack Greinke: 27,400 points
CC Sabathia: 18,400 points
Fergie Jenkins: 16,240 points
Rob Nen: 12,400 points

**Roberto Alomar if he's one: 54,000 points

Obviously some of these point values overlap...but after crunching the numbers I feel pretty good about where I'm at.
