I wish I was near some of your amount of souvenirs. I'm going to have to start selling some of my diamond players to pay for these arcs. Since the price is so high on the souvenirs right now, I've focused on buying cheap bronze players for the positions I want to get first, since there will no doubt be player exchanges for the arcs too.

I think a lot of people are doing exactly that. Prices on Diamond players are down almost across the board. If you've got some extra stubs and have been eyeing some high-priced players, the rest of this week and this weekend may be the time to pull the trigger.

Thankfully, the live series guys I have to sell, DeGrom and Syndergaard, haven't dropped too much. Then I also have some event rewards I can sell. There's no way I'm selling Gagne, he has near immortal attributes. I won't mind selling Upton or Scott, but they're not going for too much at the moment. I'd rather not sell McCutchen, but he'd bring a good amount of stubs, and I have Trout and am targeting the Ruth and Griffey immortals, so there's not going to be room for him on my team.

Remember that Friday is a new month and we get monthly rewards...a few thousand 85-89 diamonds going to enter the market. My guess is the prices don't go back up for at least a couple weeks or somebody gets an upgrade.

I really feel there will be an overall push to go after Immortals. I'm going to be one of the people pushing for them...and the live series cards aren't on my radar.

Two career Reds players in the Career Arcs can surely only be seen as a giant **** you to the community, they know exactly what the implications for that will be. I have about 7k worth of Reds souvenirs and I doubt that will even go halfway to completing one of them.

2B Roberto Alomar
CF Duke Snider
CP Rollie Fingers

Remember the exchanges will be for all of the teams they played for...Alomar played for 7 teams!

Duke Snider immediately becomes priority #1 as once I get the Snider arc done...Immortal Ken Griffey Jr. will be firmly cemented as my CF the rest of MLB 18!

So, by my quick estimations, the "useless teams" left are

Rays, Tigers, Twins, Angels, Mariners, Astro's, Braves, Nationals, Pirates, Cardinals and Rockies

I have 70,000 points worth of their souvenirs so I guess I'll be using the exchange a lot. Now I just have to work out which is the best value exchange method to get maximum point return

Should've been obvious based on the named batting stances. Aside from the weird ones like Milton Bradley and Gabe Kapler of course. every card here has a stance or delivery named. Even I didn't notice it!

Fo those interested in trading in their useless souvenirs for hopefully ones you want, I quickly did the maths and all the exchanges are all pretty close in terms of value, but the best are:

Gold Bobblehead exchange (cost 400, get 310) =77.5% return
Gold Autograph ball exchange (cost 500, get 385) = 77% return
Silver Jersey exchange (cost 650, get 500) = 76.9% return

All are between 72-77.5% though so it's not a huge deal, most are 75%. I'd probably avoid the jumbo exchange as that's the lowest (72%) but at the end of the day it might be just worth looking at the average stub value of each return as well as in terms of getting different souvenirs, the values are pretty close.

Just a heads up...looks like 5k in souvenirs for each guy which is really reasonable!

The player exchanges are going to make packs actually valuable again IMO

Grienke was only 4k exchange? Oh wow I went overkill I'll be selling quite a few souvenirs...
