Currently going crazy....had Piazza since pretty much day one...4 doubles so far....painful

JD Martinez....can't get 2 hits let alone 2 RBI with him...Since I put him in I have gotten one LH starter...which is hilarious...because before that I pretty much got all LH starters.....

I've had one ground ball hit near Brandon Crawford today. Just one.

Agreed I have 4 doubles only with him also. I can’t complete the Saltamalachia mission either which is required for the Carter missions which is required for the Piazza missions. Plus all the cards you need to trade in is unreal.

The 15 doubles with diamond Torre is a grind. Getting a ton of hits with him but all well hit singles straight up the middle or over over the fence. Do have 5 of them though so it's only a matter of patience. Only going to focus on one immortal program seeing as it's going to cost a tonne in players , jerseys and hats bit can't decide if i want to do Chipper or Pujols first.

I've had one ground ball hit near Brandon Crawford today. Just one.

Put him at catcher and get strikeouts. He'll likely drop the 3rd strike and the throw to 1st base counts as an assist.

Now I’m starting to get bored. I’ve been playing the Rockies in vs CPU mode on rookie putting up 20+ hits a game and 10+ runs but cannot get 3 hits 1 RBI with Espinosa or 3 hits 1 HR 2 RBI with Saltalamacchia. Been at it for days now. There are times where I feel the way the game unfolds that it is actually trying to prevent me from completing it lol

the best (and cheesiest) way to do these sort of missions is to have them bat at the top of the order and quit the game if they don't get off to a good start in the first inning. Also the same tactic for if you need a specific pitcher to pitch yet it insists on giving you literally every other pitcher 3 times before the one you want.

It’s an option thanks but I keep having games like my last one. Espinosa first 2 at bats a 2 run homer and a double. Just needed a single in 4 more at bats....nope. Saltalamacchia hits a 2 run double and then another double in his second at bat and just needed a HR in 4 at bats (the hardest to get with him) but he hit 3 more doubles instead. They each get 5-6 at bats a game

Martinez, Davis, and Murphy Conquest missions all done in one game vs. the Nats, in the process of still completing my first map clear. No time wasted grinding for those. Good times.

Davis was a first try, which is extra nice because I couldn't specifically pick him for a game. Hopefully Alvarez goes that well (although I'm going to need some major run support to get him 3 innings)

Just got Rookie Babe Ruth, so now I have to try and have a three hit game with my pitcher. Major pain as it means putting my pitcher at 2 or 3 in the lineup and hoping it's him I get, but given that this game is phenomenal at picking literally everyone except the pitcher you want, it could take a while!

Also trying to get those Griffey stats but it's seriously tough hitting homers with him and stealing is bordering on impossible. I currently have him batting behind rookie Hanley and then going for double steals if they both single. Not sure what will take longer, 40 homers or 24 double steals. Both would be easier with the All Star and Rookie version of him, but it's very hard to get them without doing these missions

Do the progress reward flashbacks for conquest part 1 apply to the NL/AL hitting/pitching stats requirement? Reason I ask is because some of them are significantly better than the mission reward unlock players (Desmond and Adrian Gonzalez, in particular).

Finished the manifest destiny mission and got the packs. Pulled nothing useful in any of them.

They definitely do. Edmonds helped me get the AL one. Have missed out on the NL one a couple of times by 1HR. It's killing me.

Dale Murphy is a menace for me. He damn near did the NL mission by himself once (3-4 3R, DBL, HR (Grand Slam), 5RBI). Meanwhile Desmond and Gonzalez were twiddling their thumbs.

Can this be done with any NL/AL players or does it have to be the ones gained in conquest?
