I finished the Jackie Robinson stats, so got his 1B card (decent contact, FAST and can play 2B). Unlocked the secondary Don Sutton card, and am 7 legend innings away from unlocking the secondary (Diamond) Bob Gibson card. I thought I did it with Cole Hamels, but apparently his isn't a legend card. Hard to keep these cards straight. Had a 2HR game with Hanley Ramirez LF card that I thought would count towards Billy Williams' HR w/Legend LF, but alas, no dice.

I'm getting to the point where the programs I still have to complete have jerseys/hats that cost more than I'm willing to pay, so I'll probably end up trying to do more Extreme Conquest until those prices come down.

The end is in sight for a lot of my grinding missions, particularly the 21 FB CG's, so I'm just finishing them off before putting my best team together to have a proper go at Conquest Extreme. I need 3 more CG's, along with 2SB by Dodgers, 10 runs by AS of's and 5 homers by catchers. All will hopefully be there or there abouts after the 3 games. I still need 5 more doubles with Torre and a bunch of homers and steals with Griffey, but that could take years

Narrowing down what I want to do is crazy hard!

I really want that Diamond Don Sutton so going to work hard and make him my focus pitching. Offensively I'm going to work towards that 83 Jackie Robinson.

The Immortals I'm going to go hard at: Robinson/Griffey/Wagner/Ryan

I was working them out earlier and the cap/jersey requirements for Wagner and Ryan aren't actually *that* bad. They would cost about 18k for Ryan and maybe 26k for Wagner, which although still a lot and incredibly time consuming, is at least an achievable amount of stubs. (along with maybe 3k for the relievers/starters)

I've decided Griffey is my main aim out of the immortals, he's more expensive at maybe 30k, but still at least not Jackie/Babe style 100k

I think prices will drop too. Right now you have an influx of people wanting to knock out the same arcs/missions. We'll see the gear drop in price IMO. *Gear that is currently being used*

I don't know about that, it shows no signs of dropping so far. Also when they release the 2nd set of programs, so Immortals can actually be unlocked, I can see an awful lot more demand coming for the immortals trade in items

I'll be 60% done conquest extreme after finishing off the AL West tonight, honestly it was pretty easy I'm gonna finish on turn 4 when they give you 6. I wish I could be grinding ranked seasons but for some reason im getting disconnected 50% of my games despite having good internet and a hardwired connection.

Yeah, I'm not finding it all that difficult either. If you can win consistently on HOF or Legend you're golden.

Even if you can only win 1 out of, say, 5 on Legend, if you play your first Steal game on Legend and win you've given yourself a huge boost to completing the full conquest. If you lose it's no big deal because you just restart and try it again.

I had a clench moment against the Giants where I lost on a Veteran normal territory game which forced me into a HOF stronghold game (3 vs 10 I think was the fan matchup) but I won it and all was well.

Having to beat the Dodgers twice on Legend in Extreme Conquest is...not fun. What a frustrating experience.

One other thing I'm working on in addition to the Ruth/Williams arcs...my 2B CAP. He's Gold now and I've done every requirement for the low diamond except the cumulative stats. This was the first thing I've seen to require autographed baseballs, btw - and fortunately I had enough of them stored up without needing to buy them.

I forced myself to sit down last night and finish the last 3 player missions that I still had for Conquest, and no, one of them was not Brett. They were


Eric Karros - Had to go multiple innings so that he could get some more at bats but his second hit of the game was a home run so he got the second hit and the run scored.


JD Martinez - Again, I think I had to purposely prolong a game but he finally managed to rope a double over the outfielders head to drive in runners from first and second.


Shawn Green - I had already finished it once but lost the progress due to a lost connection error. So the fact that it was my last mission annoyed the hell out of me. I finally managed to get the steal though on a high throw by the catcher.


So when I site down next with the game I will be working on the AL and NL conquest stats.

That card is killing me...can't get that second hit with him for the life of me!
