Wait, you can quit when you've fulfilled mission requirements in a game and still unlock the mission...? What happens, you just take the loss but get the stats you need?

This is important information!

Yup, you can. Obviously for any mission involving a pitcher's win stat, a hold, or a save you need to finish the game, but the game counts a quit out as an instant loss and records the stats as though it was a completed game.

Finishing a hitting mission in 2 innings is a lot more reliable than going through 9 and praying the servers stay up.

Adrian Gonzalez my hero. 3-5, 2R, 2HR, 4RBI. I was T8 needing just the 2nd HR (AGAIN!) to complete the NL hitting conquest mission. AGone leading off (and only Kemp behind him, so NEEDED this here) against a lefty, 1st pitch slider, power swinging, GONE! Thank GOD. Also finished Gordon Beckham's statline, and a daily mission in the same game. Yeah, I'm happy.

OMG this post just saved my sanity. I am 65% done with conquest and needing to knock out the NL/AL hitting objectives + one of the pitching objectives.

I freaking wasn't using the better players awarded to us smh

I played like 3 full games and kept coming close to the offensive numbers but couldn't get over the hump. I only used the players were earned through conquest that we had to do individual missions with. So I basically severely handicapped myself due to ignorance.

My in-laws have come to stay for the Easter weekend and have today announced they are staying an extra day. So I am mainly working on not killing them or myself.

Definitely tougher than the 3 hits with Babe mission tbh

I have completed the Seth Smith program for the Billy Williams card. Have to work on doing Ryan Raburn and Chris Heisey now.

Just hit the Ryan Raburn HR, got the Saunders RBI. working on Chris Carter and De Aza is a pain, doing pitchers as they go along, struggling with 2 Larry doby RBI. Just can't get the cards to fall right for him. Pedro Alvarez needs 1 more RBI. Qualls 1 more Hold. Going slowly. but oh well.

Just finished Conquest Part 1. Was in T9 needing only the double, and Dale Murphy (who else) got it with 2 outs (whew). He also started the festivities with a 3-run HR in T1. In the 10 pack bundle got Kurt Suzuki as my guaranteed silver, Jason Heyward 2015 flashback and Manuel Margot as my only other cards of note.

Now I'm looking at Extreme Conquest side-eyed wondering if I'm ready for that nonsense.


Side note: for the pitching side, I went 8 VERY strong with Guidry fulfilling everything except the W obviously (up 2-0). I thought I'd get cute and steal a save with a Cardinals pitcher for Gibson mission (I have Sam Tuivailala and Sean Gilmartin in my pen for such reasons). Double and HR later, and we're in extras. Luckily I had Benoit still in my pen, so I ended up getting the win with him and saving that game. That woulda been brutal.

Conquest Extreme actually seems pretty straightforward - win several games in a row on HOF - Legend to steal as many fans as possible and play the board game with a clear goal in mind in a limited number of turns. I know I can win on HOF with a better rated team than the ones I'd be playing, but Legend will be tough. Will probably be something I mess around with from time to time - Part 1 was the thing I really wanted to get done.

AL/NL hitting challenges. For some reason, home runs are 100% impossible for me with these cards. No matter how perfect the game tells me contact was, it never sniffs the warning tack

Make sure you're using Ian Desmond, Adrian Gonzalez, and Jim Edmonds (you may have to complete one or 2 to get enough % for him) for those challenges. They all have significantly more power than all of those other conquest reward guys. Kemp, Murphy, and Green are probably your best chances for a HR out of the mission unlockable guys.

Other than that, just wait for a meatball (on rookie, you should see plenty) and try to swing early and pull.

Ive been playing conquest all wrong, thanks to this thread i'm going to restart tonight and actually beat it this year... well just part one. I'm terrible at on anything above vet. All Star i might win 1 out of 7 games or so... So I have no chance for conquest extreme.

I'm just plugging in guys left and right to try and hit missions. I would say Yasmani Grandal has absolutely clobbered the baseball when he gets AB's.

Yeah, Grandal is killing it for me too. My best player has probably been Chris Taylor. I went a while without playing him due to missions and such, plugged him back in and he's on fire. I started with the early Extreme Conquest teams, and he's basically responsible for me winning 3 games already, including a nice comeback in Colorado. Double bonus in that he and Grandal (and Kemp to a lesser extent) are racking up the stats for the Jackie Robinson mission.

I've finished 3 EC teams so far. Playing on HOF is not fun, so I don't see how I'm gonna capture all the strongholds in the allocated time. I should atleast be able to get to 60% though and get Hershiser.

I'm just not even going to attempt extreme conquest...having fun grinding the other things. I'm satisfied with knocking out the regular conquest and I'll stick with that!

I had a solid pull after a game vs CPU...pulled a gold 83 Grienke.

Do we know when the new player souvenir missions for some of the career arcs come out ? I just want that Gary Carter and Chase Utley already. What's the chances the Ryan Hanigan is the final one for Gary Carter ?
