I don’t know how you guys do it....I played 3 event ganes in a row lost the first one on a string of errors, one fielding followed by back to back throwing errors. Lost the second one after Miguel Cabrera hits one just over my Outfiekders head to the wall that dropped and just lay there and my fielder just stood there and wouldn’t pick it up. I had to wait for my RF to arrive and get it....inside the park HR....lost the third one on back to back errors 1 fielding 1 throwing.

3 event losses in a row due to 5 errors out of my control and one game bug that hasn’t been addressed in the 3 patches released.

It’s bad enough when this happens in RS but when it happens in events or Battle Royale it makes me want to smash the disc. I felt like I threw 2 HRs of my life away where I accomplished nothing. I’m happy for you guys having success but I just can’t bring myself to try and grind wins in these modes when crap like that happens.

So far I'm able to tolerate it. If something bad happens to me my blood pressure raises a bit but I'm able to move on. I'm averaging 4-5 wins a night so I'm almost done with the 20 wins and then I'll move on to RS.

Wind blowing straight in, against the Rockies on rookie, yet they still hit 7 runs on 8 hits, 7 of which went for no doubt homers. This game is just really strange sometimes. obviously still win comfortably, but there is no way the computers hitting isn't incredibly dodgy some games

I needed 2 wins to complete the event today. First 2 games I load, the other guy quits before the first pitch.

This game is up to its old tricks for me where my game randomly locks up for a minute, then I lose connection to my opponent and get a loss. My connection is fine, i have no issues with any other game, but every couple of games I get a random loss for no reason in a game I just started. Its literally impossible for me to ever go 12-0 or anything even close because of that.

Im 14-9 in this event with 4 losses from random nonsense disconnects, the random disconnect loss is usually followed by another loss because im extremely frustrated by what just happened.

Chipper Jones is unlocked

30 H, 3 XBH, 1 HR, 18 R, 18 RBI away from Cal Ripken being unlocked.

Then I'll finally chill on my grind and once I'm back from vacation just play some RS and naturally get everyone else.

I've been grinding away for CC, Belle and Griffey. I'm 45 Diamond Duke Snider hits away from Griffey. I'm at 200 Ks in the first Diamond CC mission (which means I'm still 300 short of unlocking the 92 ovr) and I've got about 110 total hits with Gold/Diamond LFs and RFs (590 short of unlocking Diamond Belle).

Those numbers are daunting and the grind has been getting to me, so I decided to spice things up a bit. I blew almost all my stubs on players I haven't used but I thought would be fun. Picked up Harper (73K), Stanton (50K) and JD Martinez (22K) to give me a lineup of mashers. No more messing around with the Johnny Damons of the world! I got them all at good prices, so when I sell them off after this brutal Belle mission I shouldn't lose any stubs, even with the 10% tax. I feel reinvigorated!

I have Griffey unlocked now and am 4 Sabathia complete games away from Nolan Ryan. I have the 2nd diamond Larkin unlocked, his one game mission is a pain. After I get his stats done, I just need a bunch of Orioles jerseys to get Ripken.

The C.C grind is killing me ,might just be me but the cpu on rookie can consistently have 10 plus pitch at bats fouling everything off and dragging the game on too long.

Also Tyler Anderson in this game can get f****, seems to always be a CY Young candidate pitcher when i face him on rookie lol. At times it feels like the crapper rated the pitcher is the better the cpu pitches.

Rant over.

So easy to have a love hate relationship with this game, absolutely love it despite it's faults but at times i hate it.

When it comes to the CC grind, sounds like it's best to go get his 86 first, and then use that to get the 92 and gold/diamond mission at the same time?

Unfortunately that also means Greinke/Gibson gets delayed....

It actually went by super quickly for me, because first basemen generally just mash the hell out of the ball in this game. just do Coors on away and it's easy. Everything is a double or homer lol

What I did was load my lineup with 1B and duke snider and just kept restarting. If I landed on Scherzer or a silver pitcher, I would pitch the game .... but I eventually got close enough where I just kept restarting no matter what. It will go by fairly quickly if you do that.

Im getting there, its just a lot of hits. I feel like quitting and restarting cant save you all that much time , plus im working towards CC. Im trying to use guys whose team epics I havent finished yet too so doing a bunch at once. Im at the point where Im done with pretty much all the other stats, just need a 100 more hits or so

Cant wait to be done with first baseman though because my defense is atrocious everywhere haha.
