Seeing him in every line up is bad....having him hit a bomb homerun on a pitch out of the strike zone in virtually every game I game I face him makes me rationally angry

Its crazy, there is literally nowhere you can throw a ball to him that he cant hit out. Ive thrown balls over a foot outside and have seen him pull them for homers. Ive thrown balls up around his eyes that hes hit out.

I got the Greinke stat grind done and unlocked the diamond version. The stats to complete the program are 9 wins, 110k, and 3 shutouts. There's going to be a lot of quitting out of games for me tomorrow trying to get him to be picked to start.

I'd estimate that my play time is about 75% Franchise and 25% Conquest, so I only do programs that seem pretty easy, or at least easy enough to get some quick loot. And as a Giants fan, programs I really want are pretty slim. First they finally get a Giants program out there, but it's Melky. (We've had enough questionable left fielders, thank you.) Then I see Robb Nen as a career arc. Hooray! Then I see the necessary stats... um, what? Seriously? Stuff like 400 K's from gold/diamond relief pitchers. Not closers, relief pitchers. With my play habits, I might get done with that one by fall 2021. But then, all I have left for the Trevor Hoffman program is eight more saves and the exchange-a-thons, so I guess he'll have to do.

If nothing else, I'm now realizing that diamond jerseys are only good for arc and immortal mission exchanges, so I'm selling them so I can finally afford Posey and Bum to finish off my Giants collection. Then maybe it's off to scrimping and saving to get that expensive Father's Day bat for Hardware McCovey.

Thank goodness I'm a franchise guy, or else I'd be sharing everybody else's frustrations here.

Love the game but i have lost any desire to play anymore. Got gold Snider and and PS C.C but the grinds to get their final cards is ridiculous and forces people to play boring and bad baseball. Tried playing online but there is no desire for that anymore , i only get matched with people from asia and the connection kills it, this game also has the worst online community for sports games (apart from this board the MLB The Show community is actually disgusting).

What was the CC grind like?

I'm afraid to know. But I'm going after greinke first anyways

Gallo is the greatest piece of evidence of broken hitting in this game. A guy with such low contact attributes makes contact on everything but a diamond player with contact above 90 weakly hits into outs on fat pitches with good times swings. The whole Power/Normal/Contact swing is also not what it should be. I’m hitting more balls for hits, gap shots, down the line, and Homeruns with power swing. Contact swing nets me solid outs, and contact swing makes me hit like a toddler.....smaller the PCI the better hits I get

It’s the stat missions for all of them that are such a chore. These missions should have been with the first set of Arc missions. I’ve played a lot the past 2 days and I’m not even a 1/4 of the way through. I don’t care how much someone plays I will never understand how guys unlocked some of these Arcs in the first day or two of their release. With only 24 HRs in a day it seems not possible.

It's doable but you pretty much have to play non-stop with a relentless motor

Usually after a while I just take it easy and triple task

Every game community, as a whole, is terrible. Most people suck, especially on the internet.

Being a white guy on NBA2k my park was always hilarious when I used to play. Especially when me and my buddy would rattle off like a 20 game win steak, people would ****ing hate us haha.

That's all I need for Diamond Mike Schmidt. Then I'll have to invest some in the 3B exchange. Going to sell my WS rewards...David Wright and Bryce Harper. It hurts my soul to sell Bryce but I'll have Immortal Griffey & 94 Snider in the OF along with any combo of Dale Murphy/Jay Buhner/Billy Williams. Just no reason to keep these cards I can sell and just put towards exchanges. Heck I'll even have Immortal Chipper soon and he can play the OF as well. Oh and that 87 Pujols too. Just too many guys in the OF...gotta just take the 120k stubs.

Just got LS Machado as my 20 - win in the split-squad event. If I hold him, that's also basically a free AS Adam Jones as the team collector reward. On the field, it's a huge upgrade at SS over what I have now.

Going for almost 100k though...that is tough to look at and not consider it.

Edit: Eh, I'm keeping him. Like I said, huge upgrade on the field. Jones is a solid play in my outfield too though it's less impactful because I have a glut of playable LF's who can also play CF.

His first AB in the event (which I'm still playing for Britton) - oppo field HR off a fastball. Nice debut.

I just unlocked immortal Pujols. Also 4 wins and 20 strikeouts for diamond Greinke away from Gibson.

Edit: Got Gibson too. I like the look of this inventory screen.

Not this one. I agree that virtually every game forum is a disaster. I’ve been banned 7 tines this year alone from the EA forums for constructively criticizing the game yet guys can otally curse you out and derail a thread as long as they are pro EA. Operations Sports by far has the best people and moderators. That said my game experience has been mostly positive online this year.

Not what I meant, I can see the confusion though when I read it back. When I said gaming community I did not mean forum or anything like that. I meant the people that actually play the game.

The C.C grind for the first part was pretty easy , only took me ten games to get the commons to silver grind done. Haven't played much since then but the final gold and diamond grind will take time. He and Grienke are probably the easiest grinds though , on rookie with the silvers i was getting up to 18 ks a game so i imagine the golds and diamonds will be able to go 20+ a game.
