Re: What are you working on thread

Decided to make an attempt at finishing off conquest extreme by conquering all strongholds in 12 turns. Very first game I lose because the computer hits a line drive right at Jim Edmonds in center and he just put up his glove and misses it. He naturally runs all the way around the bases to score and I lose.

There are countless ways to make a baseball game more difficult, theres no need to for my guys to just become mentally and physically handicapped in the field because I am playing on Legend. Its a complete turn off and issues like that are just further exacerbated in conquest.

Maybe Ill try again in a few weeks.

One way to do them without spending a ton of money is investing in players. Obviously you have to get lucky. But for example I bought a bunch of Severinos when he was really cheap. Enough that now they’ll pay for an Immortal. Have a few other players that should net similar returns if they pan out.

Not a perfect solution by any means but it’s a path you could take without spending real cash.

I finally got the diamond Pujols mission done. I've been so close so many times, just didn't have the RBI. I'm 7 saves and 20 innings from finishing the Reds pitching stats, so hopefully I'll be finishing that epic soon. I have a bunch of other team's batting stats done, but this pitching grind is insane.

Its brutal, I could probably have 20 teams or so done with hitting stats this weekend if I wanted to but the pitching is just nowhere close,

Still no immortals to complete just a bunch of player programs

            Zzzzzz

Sds I know you want to keep dropping new content but this is stupid. We are more than two months in.....

the new programs are 3 SP, a 3B, SS, and RP. I'm guessing the 3B and SS will be for Chipper/Cal. Not even bothering with those programs. I guess I'll do the SP programs since it looks like I'll need those.

Such a bring way of releasing content. I'd rather go a few weeks and get something of substance rather than this constant drip of absolutely pointless tiny programs (all with a healthy dose of exchanges required of course)

This year is a complete fail

Hard to really call it a program though, it's essentially get 40 hits with AL SS and then trade in a ton of now incredibly expensive yankee souvernirs and shortstops. I presume the toughest part of the program will be after you get the Gleyber card, all to unlock the 5% of a program that doesn't exist yet

Should have sold off all my spare Phillies jerseys but I held on just in case we had a program from that team

TPA??? Hey guys, new to the Forum and new to The Show series. Never been in a place to be able to afford both Xbox and PS...UNTIL NOW(2 days ago)!!! Anyways, I started a Redsox Franchise right away but now just started looking into DD and the whole Programs/Missions deal. Some of the Mission Requirements show an abbr./acronym I'm unfamiliar with.

Example - Immortals Ken Griffey Jr.
                        Mission Name - Sweetest Swing
Mission Req. - Tally stats with any Ken Griffey Jr. items
                        Req. Specifics - 400 TPA, 90 R, 125 H, 25 2B, 5 3B, 40 HR, 100 RBI

What does TPA stand for in the above 400 TPA?

Re: What are you working on thread

Very disappointed with today's releases. The only card I was interested in was the Diamond Brantley at the ticket counter (for my all Indians squad), but then I looked at the attributes and it's definitely not worth 3,100 tickets for a minor contact and medium power upgrade from the Gold I already have, which has IE that boosts him near the Diamond level some days anyways.

On the bright side, Jose Ramirez got a slight upgrade, there's a gold Bartolo to go after, and I don't have anything I really want to spend my stubs on. I've got about 130K to play with until the next "must have" card for me comes out, so I'm considering picking up an elite pitcher (Vida Blue, Scherzer) for the top of the rotation until a Diamond CC, Cliff Lee or Bartolo drops. It's going against my Indians team idea, but I just want to try some new cards an bolster the rotation. Any other market suggestions for elite pitchers to use online?

Corey kluber is great and much cheaper than that group you listed, but I'm in the same boat and looking to pick up someone similar
