Re: What are you working on thread
Played 17 and my goodness how depressing. Wish 18 played the same online. There’s just no point grinding anymore. Nothing but 1 or 2 run games with very little offense regardless of your team.

Re: What are you working on thread
Still on 17, and still trying to figure out "Diamond Dynasty for Dummies"
I exclusively play offline, so I think it's fun that I can play the CPU with my Diamond Dynasty team, aptly named after my Rec League team. Just trying to figure out who I should have on my roster if I'm just playing the CPU, should I just focus on putting together a dream team comprised of players I can afford rather than trying to get someone with pure speed/monster power?Comment

Re: What are you working on thread
Decided to shake things up. Almost at WS, but anything to make it slightly more interesting...
Sold my rewards and Gagne and got Blue on the market, my intention is to pick up 93 Ichiro and make him my leadoff hitter. Immortal Jackie's going to the bench because I hit better with Jose...Comment

Re: What are you working on thread
Shelved the game for the past few days out of frustration. Played a ranked season game yesterday and won 1-0 again. I had 2 hits and I one hit my opponent. The games are just totally boring win or lose. Watching immortals and Diamond players constantly hit weak outs while winning off a solo shot in the 2nd inning or a bloop single with a guy on 2nd is not rewarding in anyway. Its been well over a week since I attempted to finish any grinds because apparently you are better off filling your line-up with the Joey Gallos of the game or hitting with your pitcher rather than any Immortal. Its August and so many people are complaining about the hitting yet no patch to address it. It looks like I spent an awful lot of time working on my team for nothing. Don't get me wrong I had some fun doing it and ripping packs but the end result is very very disappointing.Comment

Re: What are you working on thread
I gotta admit---my experience lately has been opposite, though I completely understand and see all the time what others have mentioned. Just talking about recently. Everybody is just mashing with ease. Like, **** man, I spent all my time grinding for immortal pitchers and some dude still gonna clear the fence, opposite field, on "ok" contact off of Bob Gibson!?!?
Seems like games are comically low scoring with no hit variety, or people are clearing the fences when it makes 0 sense.Comment

Re: What are you working on thread
Bored today tried RS once again....Finally had a game where I put up 8 hits so you would think I would be happy.....it was still boring. I had one double in the gap but the other 7 hits were the single straight up the middle that just sneaks by the pitcher and is just fast enough to get between the middle infielders. I one hit my opponent and his one hit was one of those also.....I won 2-0. Simply no hit variety at all and the game feels stale and predictable. Like others have said it’s a bloop or or a solo bomb. Yawn....come on SDS fix this please.Comment
