I'd assume you pretty much need to do it if you wanted chipper/babe/pedro...if you don't care about them then there prob isn't much point.

I think it'd be weird if they had like a massive set 1, set 2, set 3, set 4 all encompassing collection at the end

If you don't think you'll plan to use 1 of those 3 all year long as your wildcard then it'll prob be a pass

Cbrev posted some YouTube videos where he wasn't even using a god squad, and I think starting playing on Monday or something.

He went 24-0, made world series, got 2 rage quits for his last two wins, hit 558 avg, scored 166 runs in 24 games, 1.58 era

I get all sweaty nervous at 14-0 then just had to bow out.

I ended up finishing off all of the TA showdowns last night and the Kaiju showdown this morning. The lighting on the Kaiju showdown and shadows was horrible. I ended up getting lucky but I think if I failed I wouldn’t do it again.

I did the Central and Kaiju conquests last night and played a bit of the event today. I’m back at my place and wow, does this game play differently on the Series X with an oled tv vs a Series S on a cheap tv. I’m having to relearn my timing because I am super early on everything.

I started a bit differently for the new season. I saved the final monthly awards stuff and next level in the set 1 collections for the new season to use the XP towards the new program. That combined with the 30k XP was a nice little boost.

Got all the new moments done across the board. Gonna finish Topps now first then do some showdowns for Kaiju and team affinity. Missed the boat on the BR program again so no Posada so I guess I'm rocking Realmuto for a bit. Actually ok with this since I always use posada so opens me up for fresh catchers this season.

Finally pulled another 90+ diamond...

Another Mookie Betts lmao. Not complaining as I got 150k for him. I have all the live series done except for collecting Ohtani, Trout, Judge and DeGrom. McGwire and Jeter are less enticing to me now and I'm contemplating just saving stubs for a bit until some cards come out I really wanna try.

Big Mac would be my DH and Jeter is really good but idk. Might change my mind and just finish it

Solo is separate from coop yes. They share the same program progress but ratings are separate.

Matchmaking is random like anything else unless you play with the same people on your squad. It matchmakes like solo

You only accrue stats for your own performance

Was hoping to play alot today and yesterday bc gf is out of town for mothers day. Worked late last night and went to my mom's for mothers day today.

Got thru kaizu moments/showdown last night and a couple conquest games today but I was falling asleep so I took a 4 hr nap. I was able to finish off the conquest map but I lost on all star twice at the end 🙄.. And I was hitting terrible and impatient.

So haven't made much progress this time around. 1240am and just woke up, gotta eat then try this again

Also Keith hernandez is annually the worst card in the game. I was hitting like 100 with him and Yaz and all star in conquest. Meanwhile Hairston and his 40 power rating was hitting 625 worth of singles

Nap makes things 1000x better

Was looking over set 1 collection. I'm 1 card away from my 2nd pack (prob take Pedro since I suck with babe and I value 1st base defense).

Outside of that there's almost no way to get that 3rd pack. I think id need to buy 60 more cards and at that point how long would I even be able to use the 3rd card.

I think the plan is to sell of set 1 cards that I don't think I'll be using anymore that have value and rebuy the 10k freedie freeman wbc type to compete up to 2nd collection pack

I'm also at 330k and very tempted to buy mantle instead of my OG plan to buy griffey (for half the cost). I always suck with mantle but assume hell maintain value and I'll be able to use him longer.

Yeah the temptation is real for me to get Mantle. I just can't justify spending that much on a single card. I like my OF but that Mantle is just too juicy. The second Show pack I opened after he released dropped a Chase pack and I held out hope but it was just Sean Murphy lol.

I hope/wish they add some additional Unlimited mode or something. I love the new format but having a singular area to use any card would be great too. It would have to have different rewards and whatnot. I'd feel better dropping serious stubs on a card if that were the case.

It’s funny on your last paragraph- I’m right there with you on Yaz (awful, hit under .100 with him until finally getting his PXP mission done), and Hairston, but Hernandez has been an ace at smacking balls into the LCF gap for me so far.

I only have the Yaz moment left, but I’m irrationally mad at him after his conquest performance so am avoiding it for now.

If I can actually hit with him then he's likely my wild card. He has no flaws. Right now I assumed it was chipper but his defense is ehh.

But it's atleast 3+ months of use if I buy him now and would also likely have him p5 by then. If a month goes by and I can't hit with him I assume his value is close to the same or maybe I eat 50k.

Tatis already dropped in value but his reaction is low so there is that. Not sure how many people run him in ss vs the of but I'm putting pretty high value in my defense this year with reaction ratings being pretty significant,

I ran Trea turner at Coors as a replacement for Jazz and he was noticeably worse in cf and the 99 speed wasn't cutting it compared to what jazz was getting to
