I appreciate that SDS released the weekend content yesterday. Gave me a chance to complete TA C1, the Awards, and the Retro ASG programs before leaving town for the weekend.

Sunk some more time into Ranked after finishing the offline stuff.

I think I'm around 600 now after 9 games. Started back at 400 because I only got 11 games in before last season ended.

Pedro is really disappointing. Maybe I'm just not sequencing right for him but I also feel he's easy to see. P5 Live Series Chris Sale with a full Tier 3 Braves boost is stupid good. Have Awards Ozzie Albies and Freeman as my first two Wild Cards. Also swapped out the 95 Griffey with the new Sizemore. Felt like Griffey kept getting terrible reads defensively and wasn't hitting well with him. Sizemore has already been a huge upgrade defensively.

Not really hitting great with 95 Chipper either. I didn't get full games in out of the 9 I played so can't judge too much.

I think I'm like 150k or so away from the next wild card. Not sure who ill WC when I get there but seriously considering Tom Glavine. I bought the new Spahn to try with the boost but I'm pretty sure he'll get torched by any decent hitter haha

I’m either getting better or just lucking into some bad opponents but this BR and the past couple events have been a breeze. That Diaz captain card has been insane for me. I’m hitting like .750 in the event and the swing just feels good for a righty.

I’ve done every program so far, have all of the season 2 Cubs cards, and over a million stubs. Hope the all-star game content is good because it’s probably the last big content drop I play. Might pop in for some BR but I think EA College Football is just going to eat all of my time. Fun year, but really missed the mark with DD this year.

Got my 10 event wins and Yasmani - about 70K away from another wild card spot. BR isn't working well for me - took me forever to get to 50 and I'm just not playing well. It's not exactly the confidence booster to get back to Ranked, but at 20-6, I feel like it's time to see if I could ever make World Series sooner than later.

A double XP weekend would have been nice to get that much closer to Chipper/Junior. Maybe All Star content will re-engage me, but right now, it feels like the dog days of summer have come early for me and DD.

Another 6-2 run in br... Get my 6 wins and got a 10x flawless guy that was 39-1

Seriously... Going flawless and having one flawless guy along the way I guess is something. But I swear they have this coded to make it next to impossible to even get the 7 wins this year

i finished the HRD stuff before i went on vacay wednesday and then finished the monthly stuff on saturday night when i got back but my internet is back to not letting me play online so after that its just been real boring. I tried a franchise but just cant get into playing the computer all the time and same with RTTS .. If this continues im going to either have to try and get a different internet provider ( but i doubt the wife will go for it since Tmobile is so much cheaper than anything else around us) or just but NCAA( which i already planned on) and ride that out for the rest of the year .. frustrating times because i want to play baseball and play online

Jealous of you Yasmani people. I just got to the 95 Chipper/Junior/Roy pack, and apparently I can’t hit with this Chipper for whatever reason. I went back to Vinny Castilla at 3B, with the Devers (3) and Prior (2) boosts making him pretty studly for me.

I missed every 2XP weekend so far with travel, and they’re really amping up the online vs offline XP gains this season. I guess it’s good to not have to worry about needing the WC offline anyway, but being only at 437k XP at this stage is still a tad discouraging.

One Conquest left to complete for the XP (Blue Jays, I think) before I start working on the TA MS to be postured closer to a playoff run as C2 starts this Friday.

I don’t know what it is, but I couldn’t hit with that 2nd Chipper either, I was great with the first one though. I just got the 2nd boss pack and got his 99, I hope I perform closer to the earlier one with the 99.

They seem to have a lot planned for All Star Week. Looks like they are really dumbing down the TA progress. The HOF evolution program looks nice too. The biggest thing I’m looking forward to though is I’ll finally have enough cards to get that Bob Gibson collection reward.

Just when I thought I was out ... they bring me back in!!!!

Yeah, All-Star looks locked and loaded. Really glad they're dropping some 99s but without over-saturating it for people who have worked hard to have a better roster by grinding harder.

I played some ****** online games today. It was between watching the bear or grinding more br and I opted to just play ****** with primarily season 1 cards I never got to use. I used Andy pettite in the few games I tried to play.

Getting connected took forever, I loaded into shield woods so I quit that, the 2nd game the guy started bunt dancing from the very first pitch (in ******, wtf?), I think I got another shield Woods, I went up on two people and they quit so was looking like a waste of time... But then I connected with someone and we played a solid 7-3 game that I won but the hitting analysis was basically identical other than I chase a little less. We both had the same perfects, I only had like 2 or 3 good contacts more....it was a good solid fun game

It sucks that ****** essentially gives you zero progress at all. I wish we had a 9 inning online mode that essentially didn't matter like ranked does but rewards you for actually playing the game. I don't wanna play a sweaty palm high stress ranked game everyday... Thus was fun cause it didn't matter. And I intentionally used "fun" Pitchers and not like crazy outlier meta guys cause it didn't matter.

This update for tomorrow looks promising but feels too little too late

I played another ****** game today, took forever to find an opponent. Neither one of us hit for abiut 4 innings then I hit 3 back to back to back hrs and he hit me and quit 😕... So I didn't try another one but I did finish the McCutchen program for xp, I just got the chase pack and was a 3k diamond like sonny gray I think.

If this is a massive drop and if takes 3 weeks to complete then they drop 99s and then two weeks later is s3 then we lose all our cards it's just hard to really commit to a grind where you lose everything once you get the goods

Idk, I wish they would announce that s3 they're doing a curveball with cards we can use. They gotta drop this seasons **** bad and ideally not wait till next year.

For ranked I still say Power creep the team overall rank if you want but let us use whatever season card we want... I feel like that checks alot of boxes

I have to say the All Star content looks solid. With that said, per usual lots of recycling of players/cards. They have got to figure out a structure coming into MLB 25 where the recycling of same current players and legends is very limited. They almost pulled me back in, but back to Online Rated and Franchise games.

Just wanted to give some kudos though, I can see where this can get guys back in and maybe they are listening a bit?

I've just looked on social media..

This is a ****ing drop plus double xp... It still doesn't change that the game was king of suck balls mountain all year but this is what they're capable of. It's exciting and disappointing at the same tine for them not delivering most of the year

They probably made the new TA a little too easy, I got all of the divisions done already. Thanks to the double xp, I also got to the final boss pack. My rotation got a big upgrade today with the additions on Halladay, Gibson, and Sale.
