Evidently with ps you get nhl 24 for free this month. With these free games are they free for good or does ps take them back at the end of the month, like a trial?

I always just play the show so haven't taken advantage of any of these monthly games

Grinded like crazy since this morning. Finished all of the new Team Affinity stuff and did my first run through the Draft map. In the All-Star collection, got up to Skenes and I think I'm like 8 cards away from the first S2 Choice pack. Probably taking Gibson but tempted by Jeter. I have the ASG Tatis in LF right now so taking Jeter would mean benching him, putting Babe back in LF and DH'ing Swanson or Chipper.

Trying to stick to a "hard rule" that I'm using a full Tier 3 Braves boost and then just filling in around. I have Live Series Acuna, Captain Swanson, Awards Albies all at P5. Still have Freeman WC'd at P3. Have Mays in CF and essentially using a rotation spot as a rotating Wild Card running through all my 99 overall pitchers. ASG Sale, Skenes, Incognito Morton and the Draft Caminiti are rounding out the rotation right now. I feel like Caminiti won't stay, but he has a good pitch mix with pretty solid attributes and a good velo spread. Gonna try him out online at least once.

Curious to see what the program looks like today. If they load it with free packs then it's a true return to form by SDS. Sad it took until now but still enjoying the game a ton the last couple weeks. My only real concern is if they go back to the slow, uninteresting pace with zero to do after the season ends.

We don't need super grindy seasons and programs at this point.

so after the new all star week program and collections i believe my line up will be this going forward

LF new Wyatt Langford
DH Jac Caglianone ( until i unlock Ohtani which i only need 3 cards for)
1B 97 Arenado (Platoon with 97 Harper until i get the next collection then ill take Frank)
SS 99 Jackson Holliday
RF 99 Tatis
3B 99 Bazzana
C 95 Salvy ( platoon with 97 Grandal until we get the Mauer evolution)
CF 95 Griffey ( still 150K away from the 99 Griffey)

i will give 99 judge a try also and im also hoping that the next TA will be HOF series and we get a Juiced Stan the Man card

This is the team I’m going to bring into RS for at least a few games today, usually I have a tier 2 or 3 Carpenter/Wacha boost, but I figured I got all these new cards, might as well try them out.

How is it even possible to have Gibson, Jeter, and frank already???

I'm not that far off the first pack but I've done all br, all programs (except recent as program), I'm like 3 or 4 ta cards short in s2 part 1 of ta in the nl central.

I've sold my event wins but got them back the no sell pack in the next one.

I maybe haven't bought the ws pre-bosses.

I'm still like 30 from collection 1 and I think I have 50 of the all star collection... I've run the conquest map once for the draft cards.

I checked and i'm 83 cards from the 3rd collection pack

I haven't bought any of the show shop exclusive cards. I've collected all 4 cornerstone guys, I'm only 3 cards short in team affinity (part 1 and 2), I'm only missing 2 cards from the new all star program, haven't done the showdown for the switch pitcher, a handful of cards short on BR.

Are people just scooping up the yan gomes type cards for cheap and locking in i'm assuming?

This is pretty much what I do, buy all the base round cards from the special packs and get the headliners cheap when there is a flash sale or a content drop that give out a lot of packs.

Played a few three ****** online games yesterday with my Mets Theme Team (s1 and s2 cards combined). The games went 6 innings, and back to back 5 inning games. Actually had some fun with it, makes me want a 5 or 6 inning mode for sure.

I also have all the s2 Mets cards and with them boosted not too terrible. Played 2 conquest games with them. Almost hooked me back in, but I stayed strong lol.

Keep grinding fellas!

I bought all s2 cards less than 10k and that got me 1 card from Jeter so I don't feel so bad now.

I think Gibson may actually be the one to pick since pitching is kindve week but I'm prob not jumping into ranked immediately and Jeter was one of my favorites.

Also only about 100k from the first xp boss... So with 40 days left I'll actually have time to use these guys which is nice

I feel like this all star week program was such a huge turn around and it still creeping me how much of a waste of time a reset to 89s or 91s or whatever will be in 40 days. It lingers over my feelings of the game... Inevitably still feels a little like "what's the point?"

I've found myself motivated to grind the past week for the first time since launch week and wondering how they can keep it up. Feel like this evolution stuff with the 3 hof guys should be something fairly different and they gotta overpower those guys to make it not feel like a let down.

I feel like they've kinda reeled me back in but I don't trust them ��

I’m feeling this a bit myself. Like S2 must be the peak content. Top it off with no ability to exchange/earn team captains to be able to play with different theme teams, and I get a little agitated.

I’m glad you asked, because now I have all 3 S2 collection cards after the ASG program.

Yes, I’m buying the pack cards, then flipping them while margins are good until I either lose the margin or feel like collecting them. I’ve got a fair number beyond 250 in reserve to ensure I can get whatever the next interim collection reward is.

On the other hand, I’m only at 740k XP, nowhere close to the 99-level bosses. This is the fate of the offline-only player.

I got Jeter and at like 820xp now or so.

Feel like I have a flood of good cards now so really having to give some thought to my God squad team and who I want to wild card which hasn't been the case all year until now.

Finished the asg program today and think I'll take Soto to replace 95 Soto but gonna sit on the pack for maybe duran. I assume I'll want to use griffey and that'll likely bench duran

The HOF programs were fun, although the stat missions seemed clearly geared towards “go pound the Rockies” as the obvious approach. Poor Todd Helton!

Agree on the God Squad decisions. Just for my S2 squad, I’m benching Judge to play Langford-Duran-Tatis in the OF. I’m not sold on Langford, but Judge is too tall for me. Same with Frank Thomas, so Helton now takes over there.

I'm still at 51 ASG cards and see some people already have 81...I'm like wtf. I'll use skenes but i doubt i'll use judge or ohtani. I got the live series ohtani to p5 but I don't think there is any scenario where I DH him.

I finished BR so i'm like 25k from chipper or griffey (will prob take chipper)

Haven't started the HOF stuff, will prob skip the event but by the time I'm done with the HOF stuff I'll probably get to chipper.
