They got to figure out these same old same cards man, no matter if it's a "new" series etc. like this action figure one.

This is an ultimate team mode, I get it, but when everyone has the same cards and same lineups, it's no longer ultimate team, it's the same team. Boring!

Hopefully they get away from this season 3 model of starting over and let people use s1 and s2 cards from the jump for theme teams or whatever. If not, I guess see ya when s3 is over.

Hard to do theme teams without access to team captains…

I've never got the boredom of other people having the same teams. I pay it no attention. I do get bored at times where it's like randy and Donaldson are the only two Pitchers in the game.... But I've never been happy or bummed or bored based on the hitting lineup I was facing

Yeah, the lack of captain packs is hilarious as well. I think I have 3 pitching and 3 hitting captains from the regular MLB Teams. Crazy that these are nowhere to be exchanged etc.

It's a bore to me, but maybe overall boring is the wrong word describing it.

Zero point to a mode where it's suppose to be an "Ultimate" Team and yet everyone legit has the same team. Nothing ultimate about it.

I guess it's also no big deal just a personal preference, things don't change, I just won't play. I'll just leave my 43-0 record alone on my 2nd account and retire a 400-699 champion in my mind.

I'll be real - they got to do away with the whole team affinity thing. The legend pool they have signed just isn't deep enough to keep it fresh and engaging over multiple years (let alone multiple cycles within the same year). Team Affinity just eats into the numbers like crazy (90 per season) - so we get a lot of recycled stuff over and over. It's the main reason (outside of having grown tired of the awful 3 inning games) I have mainly stopped playing DD this year.

Back in the day, Team Affinity was a "side task" you did alongside a slew of other content...you did it once and that was it. The mode began to go downhill and become more repetitive when they started multiple TAs within the same yearly cycle (which ultimately turned TA into the primary source of content - which is bland as heck).

I truly think they need to put on their creative caps and completely reinvent the content structure approach. Dump this Team Affinity/Other Program approach and find something completely different.

Obviously, it isn't going to happen this year - but it needs to (IMO) next year or they're going to have the exact same issues. Otherwise, they need to significantly expand the Legends pool (completely appreciating the cost with that).

So i have to say i love the design of the new TA but OMG these cards are going to suck i believe ... and to have Cepeda instead of Musial is a killer for the Cardinals choice ... they really do need to use their money on legends because this is getting ridiculous .

Ive played 33 ranked solo/co-op and got up to 63 points in the ranked program.... I didn't realize you gain ground so quickly.

I'm prob gonna skip this run of br and prob the next event too. Hoping new ranked reward is worthwhile because I'll try to obtain thru co-op exclusively.

I'm still having a hard time actually getting games in co-op but surprised the rate of progress

Hey, at least you Cards fans have legit top tier team legends to acquire. Pedro and Papi are the only legit all-time greats we Red Sox fans get to target. Boggs is the next closest, then we’re down to our 4th-best LFer…so weak.

Played mediocre in the event this morning. Can't seem to get the swing down for Jeter or chipper and I have them batting 1 and 3

Dont think I'm even gonna try team affinity 3 just get what I get organically. Plan to play events and ranked (prob co-op) atleast until season 3

Finished TA C3, and enjoying the Gwynn program so far. Main issue is that I’m now angry all over again about the team captain situation due to the 50-hit Padres mission. I’d love to have more options to mix up team-specific builds.

Played some to get some more TA Cards I'm really liking the Cal , Holliday, Raines, and Bernie cards a lot . I have a little more grinding to do to get the Gwynn card but ill get him easy and his swing is so pure wish they gave him over 80 power both sides instead of 70 but he should still be really good especially with the speed. So now this going to piss me off tho if they give Victor Scott II over 70 power because his first homer last night in a Topps now card but couldnt give it to Gwynn for a milestone card like wtf , and thats me saying that i disgusting Cards diehard fan lol

Dabbled in the Event since you can use any card. So using the Mets Theme Team has been fantastic. 11-3 at the moment and I see this runs until the 16th. I'll for sure get some more play out of this one!
