created my son as a LF prospect in the indians organization. havent gotten a hit yet. can you play every pitch ? also is anyone using the plate coverage feature ?

Did they fix the scoring bug when you're a closer? Sometimes you could give up 3-4 runs and not get charged for a single one of them.

My month long journey back down to the minors, as a 3rd baseman trying to make it to the dodgers. Up and down hitting , to late on dives at the hot corner all resulted in me going crazy err...I mean a Las Vegas 51.

An: A for potential, thats all that matters. Its tough playing RTTS in All Star mode with limited attribute points available. You have to distribute them in what area you deem effective to make the team. Dodgers 3rd base, is accessible and I will be called up once I wreak havoc in AAA.

This is a really fun career mode. I've started out as a Pitcher for the Marlins.

You can player a catcher. I played catcher in pickup games as a teenager so I decided to do it here in RttS mode. I'm having fun with it other than defense and baserunning being a bit boring. For one thing other than the occassional bunt the only defensive plays are infield pop-ups (not even a foul ball with some drama yet). And I'm so slow that there really isn't any drama to baserunning either. Still fun, but for maximum impact I'd suggest a pitcher or fast outfielder that can steal bases...

What is the main difference between RTTS and Classic career mode? I have been playing RTTS and just before work I started a Classic career and it seems identical to RTTS. Can someone explain the differences? The manual doesn't say much at all.

i think the diff in classic is that you can play the whole game instead of just playing as your guy.. correct?

i'm now 5-6 on the season with my pitcher i was 5-5 but i simmed a start by mistake and lost.. booooo

Just curious, as I've NEVER played MLB - The Show, what is this RTTS mode? What are the different franchise modes?

It appears that RTTS is a mode where you create a player, and try to bring him up to the MLB...correct? And you ONLY play as that character? What happens if you are benched, do you just watch the game? If you are inserted into the lineup, do you now actually PLAY the game?

Also, what other franchise modes are there?
