i think R1 is to jump and R2 to slide and i'm guessing you slide with the Left Analog stick.


I just started my RTTS as a SP for the Reds. I'm currently 1-1 in Spring Training.

UPDATE:In my 3rd game i was pitching really good. But they decided to take me out after 4in with the 3-0 lead(2rbi from me). We lost the game 6-5 but i achieved all 5 of my goals for the game.

I'm a SS in the nationals organization. My arm is a little iffy, But i have 2 HRS and 18 RBIS batting lead off after 22 games. My manager doesnt really like me, but my team does. It's my first time playing the show series and let me tell you the beginning i went 0-20. hitting takes actual skill. i love it

What I enjoy most about the RTTS, is rounding 2nd heading to 3rd and watching the 3rd base coach, the signals are great and effective. If you get the opportunity to round 2nd check out the 3rd base coach it is great, from sliding sig to stop at 3rd or even if you mess up and get thrown out how he will pull you to the side and admonish you its just great.

Yes, I love that he will also move towards home if he wants you to keep going, that way he makes sure the third baseman doesn't block you from seeing him. (the rule of thumb is if you can't see him, you better stop) It's just like a 3b coach in real life.

I just wish there was a better way of knowing if a line drive has dropped in or not, although I have noticed that if you hit L2 to stop your baserunner, the camera then moves into a position to show you the ball. You lose valuable time that way, though. There have been countless hits by my team-mates where I could have easily made it home from 1st, but because of the way the camera angles itself, I couldn't tell if the OF would get to the ball in time, so I have to end up stopping at 2nd. If I could see the ball the whole time, I would have known it was probably going to drop and I would keep going. Oh well, though -- I love this game.

I made myself a 19 year old outfielder. Randomly picked a team (ala like being drafted). Was selected by the Detroit Tigers.

Sucked in spring training. Signed a 2 year contract worth a total of $60k and assigned to the AAA Toledo Mudhens. Currently the starting DH, and hitting .233 with 3 HR's and 21 RBI. We're midway through June and are in first place with a record of something like 33-27. I have also been informed by the club they are not happy with me, and have put me on the trade block.

This mode is so addicting, I haven't even thought of playing my season mode team.

Just got sent down to AA for 4 games...hit 5 HRS in 4 games.. First game back with the AAA team and i hit a walk off 3 run shot in the bottom of 12. Common Nats I know you guys suck enough to give me a shot at the show!

I'm 2 weeks into spring training as an outfielder with the Cleveland Indians. Playing on All-Star, I'm somehow hitting .394 with a pair of 4-hit games. So far, I'm the feel-good story of the spring!

I selected the Dbacks cause I felt like I had a good chance of getting called up. I am in a spring training slump. Was over .300 now in the .260's with no hr's and like 12 rbi's.
It's funny they keep batting me at 4, 8, and 9. I have no extra base hits and that ticks me off a little. It seems I hit every ball up the middle. When I do hit it hard its caught in the gap or on the track.
I just figured out there were more options to use your points on. I thought it stopped at bunting, but there is weights, long toss, stretching etc... I am addicted to this game and mode. It's fun. This might be the first baseball game that keeps me playing it during NCAA and Madden.

The Tigers actually sent me down to AA Eerie at the beginning of July, I was hitting .225 with 5 HR's and 30 RBI for AAA Toledo at the time.. I went on a tear for Eerie and hit .380 with 2 HR's and 25 RBI in about 3 and a half weeks. Got called back up to AAA Toledo. Now the starting RF and on a bit of a hit streak raising my average to .241. Also have 6 HR's 37 RBI, 11 SB's and 10 2B's.

It's now August 1st and Toledo is 4 games out of first and 3 games out of the IL Wildcard.

Still at AA, in the midst of a 15 game hit streak. Still only have 1 HR and not very many RBI's though. I'd say I've scored more runs than I've knocked in.

I'm in AAA and just had a good game going into the 5th. It was 2-0(me) and I started going downhill from there. I threw 2 wild pitches and gave up 3runs in the inning. Then i got pulled but we won the game. I'm currently 2-1 w/ a 2.58ERA

Must be the time to get sent down to AA. I was hitting .338 at AAA Oklahoma and on a 25ish game hitting streak, and got sent down to AA Frisco. Started out slow there, hitting .167 in first 3 games, then went on a tear. Up to .357 with 4 HR, 5 RBI, 5 SB in about 10 games. We'll see if I get called back up.

just picked up the game (ps3) and I love RTTS. I created myself as a center fielder. I am currently in ST playing LF next to Andruw. Struggling at the plate but playing good Defense.
