I just joined, but I've been demanding that EVERY sports franchise do this on other boards for a while now. I'm glad this one is on board too. Friggin' right!

They do in my game. Here's a pic of a moonshot I hit with Posada at Citifield, look at the top row of fans reaching for the ball even though it goes over their head and lands in the concession area.

I'm currently playing a lil' exhibition match-up with the Cubbies & Dodgers...I'm the Dodgers, because I wanna see what it's like to face the Cubbies. (since I always start a franchise with the Cubbies once opening day hits)

        ...wow!!!!

...they fixed the colors of the Cubs' alternate uniforms...the BLUE is actually CUBBY BLUE finally!! It's sooo sharp....the uniforms look great! Just wanted to give SCEA a and a.

one thing i hate about this game is how the camera doesnt follow the ball out of the park on homeruns. You can never see where they land in BP and in the games.
this is one area where mlb 2k9 does a better job.

other than that, this game is absolutely amazing. Ill be playing this until november

I saw two chicks go reaching for a dinger by Jeter vs. my Tribe at The Jake (Progressive Park, whatever) on the left field patio.

Which reminds me, I played a helluva game last night. Indians vs. NYY in 10 innings.

            CLE 7 14 0
            NYY 13 19 1

The game was just crazy. I hit 3 homers with Grazy Sizemore. Never did that before in The Show. Ever. My first AB of The Show (retail copy) was a 381 ft shot over the right field wall with Grady. Then he hit a 3run HR in his second AB and another solo shot in his 4th AB. Just sweet. No other HRs from the rest of the squad.

As for the Yankees, they just worked me. They hit a total of 5 HRs. 5!! Jeter, A-Rob, Matsui, Swisher and Damon all went yard on me. It was a great game and definitely one of my more offensive shootouts in quite some time. I think Cliff Lee was at 100 pitches in the 5th.

I am really digging this game.

I love this game!! The gameplay is freak'n awesome!! I just hit an inside the park HR with Carlos Beltran. The ball hit off the Teal Monster in FL. The ball bounced over Maybins head and Beltran was off to the races. Does anyone know how to record the replay like they so it during the game?

If you're referring to the home run cam that can be turned off.

Yeah, but what sucks is that if your a pitcher, they will not say your name (unless you are coming to bat. At the mound, Vasgersian will just say there's a new pitcher, even if you're starting).

Man this game is hard!!!! I've been playing on veteran with CPU power down a couple clicks because they hit bombs all the time. Im currently 2-6 with the Halos and have lost 6 straight. Boston just out muscled me, but all my games have been close its just I make one mistake and boom its over.

Hm, that's wierd. I hit a line drive homer with Delgado in citi and they didn't reach for the ball. In wrigley kahlil green had a line drive shot as well, I guess they will only react to the high shots.

That or it's another thing revolving around the Cubs that's cursed in '09, lol.

Ok, i suspected that but thought it was like an ESPN type ticker that would just give normal day-to-day sports news. Thanks for clarifying.
