Since we are on that subject. I notice day games still have clear, cloudy, overcast with progressive lighting... can night games have the same coverings? Or is it still clear only for night games?

The Pirates don't draw, but the first year in PNC they drew 2.4 million and they drew over 2 million in '90 and '91 when they made the playoffs. If they put a winner on the field they would draw.

Fans want to watch a winner and will reward winning by showing up.
For the most part, winning games almost always results in higher attendance. I think that kind of goes with out saying. The problem with The Show is that winning almost always results in a packed house, regardless of opponent or situation.

For example, I went to a couple of Braves games last year towards the end of the season. They were playing the Nationals, they were red hot, and only a couple of games out of the Wild Card spot. If I had attended this game in the virtual world of The Show, I would've been lucky to have a standing room only ticket. But in real life, most people don't want to pay to see a AAAA team play. Even if their team is in an exciting playoff race. Which is one of the reasons why there were only about 25,000 fans present.

Just because your team is in first place, doesn't mean your fan base automatically turns into Red Sox Nation and sells out every game of the rest of the season. Though to be fair, this is really just a minor complaint, and it doesn't bother me all that much. It would just be a nice touch of added realism. Plus, it would make the games that do sell out feel that much more electric and alive.

Is progressive field going to be updated in this years game? The championship banners in LF that have been in the game the last few years are not the current ones. They are the ones from 2004.

How is the file saving system. Just like last year? Something about how The Show handles the files/saving always seems "off" as far as neatness etc.......

What are all the situations for sounds of the show? I know about world series win, team win, pennet win, away team error, strike out, and inning specific music. What are the rest of em?

As far as Playoffs/World Series VS Regular season games is there a "big difference" in the atmosphere or presentation?

Are there playoffs and world series logos on the scorebar like you see on TV?

Do the players have the logos patches on their jerseys?

So even if your using RTP and any game ending walk-off situation occurs good or bad it will default to a cut scene

Wow I'm really surprised that they didn't allow for walk-off celebrations to be in real time becuase it's something that happens after a play has concluded

Does this also mean that any game ending situation like a routine save will still end with a cut scene celebration ??

Can someone explain what game situations use RTP from the beginning to the end of the game so we know what to expect to still be a cut scene ???

Yeah makes sense. Although the cut scenes aren't bad.

Very good questions. I'd like to know these as well.

Just read it good stuff Nem. I'm a bit concerned about the plays that get by guys who try the "reach down to field a grounder" animation when fielding a grounder. Hopefully that gets toned down a bit.

This is the part I'm referring too.

Personally I felt there were too many times you did not come up with the ball. If you remember two years ago there was no animation for this and the player would just run by and do nothing. Last year they added the specific animation for it. This year that same animation is there but I felt I should have fielded some more of them.

It really is no different then last year. If it did not bother you in 09 it will not bother you in 10. Maybe we just need a couple different animations to cycle through for that play. The ball is not going through the player, they just are not making the play.

Yeah it didn't bug me too bad in 09. So that's good to here/read.
