MK and I had talked about writing a tutorial for the franchise stuff regarding "how to" with player injuries of/on, roster control ON, taking guys off the DL, putting them back on.....
When you initially see it you might go...."what the heck", but it's easy once you understand it, just need a little written guide.

thats a good idea, I'll definetly give that a read.

I know they were not there to preview the game so to speak, but then why did Knight bother to start the questions thread before he left for community day. He kinda made it sound like they would be able to answer a lotta stuff.

I don't think he is trying to start anything.

Just overly eager, and not used to how this process works. In time I am sure he will learn patience.

We should all let this go and move on. I think the points have been made.

Heck no they can't answer everything...but there were a few posts asking about sounds of the show...I was just getting over anxious thats all.

Are all Braves fans this annoying? As a Twins fan, I am sorry that we beat you in 1991 and they keep showing it on MLB Network!!!

As for the CD day guys, you guys are doing an amazing job. Just because you got invited out there does not mean that you have to share anything with us. You could keep all the knowledge to yourselves, and make us discover things on our own. So for this, we thank you!!

Like you said for the CD guys sounds of the show may have been low on their list, but for me it is the # 1 thing that I am looking forward to in the game...so that's why I got all huffy. Again, I am sorry guys.

I wonder why this is?

My guess would be that it has to do with how they programmed the shadows for the clouds during day games, and the way the lighting was programmed overall. It would look pretty silly to have shadows of clouds all over the field during a night game. I would assume that as they start programming in weather effects into the game, it will affect the lighting at night as well, and therefore the skies during night games will see some treatment. We all know that SCEA doesn't do something unless they can do it right, so nighttime cloud effects are probably something they just couldn't get done right in this dev cycle.

Anything new with running throws on those sacrifice fly type plays? I assume that with new emphasis on arm strength, I'll actually be able to throw a few people more runners out with the strong and accurate Ichiro's of the world?

Did you notice pitcher animations such as blowing in their hands when cold and/or perhaps licking their fingers? These are both small things that I wouldn't be upset if they were out but the addition would just add to the realism of the game.

No...I didn't.
ASB...that was awesome to see the pitchers and players blowing smoke from the cold.
