You lost me on some of that. So if you assign a dummy profile to a team wouldn't that team become "human" and therefore allow any trades? I don't really understand how this works.

I know we need workarounds, but its really crazy when you think about it. And what about the millions of kids and adults who have this game who arent on OS and have no idea how to fix this? I have talked to 7 other friends of mine who have the game, dont have a clue about Operation Sports, and they are all complaining about freezes and problems with the franchise mode. They basically label the game as unplayable now.

You can change every option for any profile or GLOBAL at any time now.
One of the beauties of the new system.

Have you tried making a profile?
Do you see the settings?....AUTO(CPU...NOT human)....or MANUAL(human)...making a profile does not mean you are taking control.
Set one profile to have AUTO trades...give it to the team you want to trade with...try and make the trade...get your answer...give them back either the profile with trades manual or back to NO PROFILE(they will follow the global options).

Exactly, although I dont understand what the benefit of the second profile is when you can change the global setting and talk trade with every team in the league as opposed to having to change the profile associated with each team you want to talk trade with and having to change each one back when done.

Side question, the waiver system is still in flux correct? Meaning teams are still putting players on waivers and not pulling them back? I thought someone found a way to get this to work correctly where teams would pull them back but now I cant seem to find this information. Any help would be appreciated.

Say you just want it for one team....you then you would just need that extra one.
No...they will pull back the players. It's YOUR team that they don't rescind for if you claim them. It also negates the contracts to 0 years 0 dollars. Don't claim big players you cheaters(until they patch it.

Just to calrify because Im a little dense tonight. They will pull back the player on waivers when its a CPU team attempting to claim them but if its my team attempting to claim them then they wont?

Yes...I'm going off tbarnes(?) and his testing with that.
I'm pretty sure I saw that myself though...there might be one or two CP that sneak by. I think I recall him saying that.

Closers that move through waivers are earlier in the season on conditional waivers. I have never seen anyone just claimed on trade waivers by cpu. Usually a closer is put on waivers because a cpu trades for another one somewhere else along the line. If you have 30 team control another work around is to change the aquired closer or lower rated one to rp and then they will stay on mlb roster and not placed on waivers.

Does anyone know if the pre-game batting practice glitch is related to the Tropicana Field glitch?

i.e., Does the batting practice glitch only occur at certain stadiums, and if you were to play a normal game there, would the bullpen freezing occur?

But I still need to exhibit some restraint on claiming players on waivers due to them not pulling them back correct?

Yeah just played at Tropicana using the newest default rosters. First inning hit select freeze as soon as i hit select. Never even got to the quick menu, just froze right away.

Anyone have any clue on how to edit lineups? I edited all the lineups with lineup/rotation on manual and everything looks fine but when you get into the game the cpu has switched the lineup all around just like last year. Did this not get fixed? Why allow you to edit cpu lineups this year if it doesn't work?
