Was one but I'm guessing they took it down for some odd reason."I wanna walk down the street and people say," "There goes Roy Hobbs, the best to ever play the game."Comment

Not sure if this has been addressed somewhere else, but can we edit an existing player's potential rating this year?Last edited by mgoblue678; 02-10-2011, 08:43 AM.My Teams

You can use a generated player who is edited into the player you want with what you think his potential should be and import him over the current player though....so in a way...yes.

After watching the Qore video, I had a question in regards to pitch speed and Analog Batting.
One thing I know myself and others have struggled with over the years is the pitch speed; even lowering the slider to zero the pitches are too fast for some people.
Has pitch speed been toned down at all to compensate for the new Analog controls? And, if not toned down, has the Pitch Speed slider been tuned to be more responsive to allow for those with slower reaction times to find their sweet spot in terms of speed?Currently Playing:

When I am creating or editing Ted Williams will he be in his Red Sox uniform or the standard default uniform?

Re: MLB 11 The Show Community Day Discussion Thread - Questions, Answers etc.
Sorry if this has been asked, but I'm curious if outfielders' abilities to read caroms off walls and such has been "dumbed-down". Do visiting outfielders ever misplay balls off the wall? Do outfielders do this at all in 2011?
I'm buying this game day one, no question, but I would love to see outfielders misplay caroms and catchers/plays-at-the-plate be more realistic.
Also, since there's dynamic weather/rain, does that mean there are rain delays/rainouts? Are there 6-inning wins for rainouts that qualify as a game played? Are there Double Headers? And for RTTS: is the record book more robust than previous years (I want recognition for hitting .400+, for example!).
Thanks in advance.

Does anyone know if the issue of balls going through gloves has been addressed? Every now and then (just now, for me), one of the infielders will go down to get the ground ball and it just rolls through their glove. When you go back and watch it in replay, you see it very clearly go into the webbing and then come out on the other side.Comment
