im using classic assist Baserunning and only using the stick and i slide when ever its close

Right, it seems like the game only slides when it's needed. Otherwise they go in standing up, which causes a panic attack here and there.

question about rtts controls. Is there any way to set it so that when I'm fielding at third base circle will still throw to first rather than square? I want circle to always be first base so i don't get mixed up when jumping back and forth from exhibition to rtts.

Just started my 3rd season. Finally i am a starter for the AAA without it being because of an injury. I think i need to boost my vision and discipline cause the 1st and 2nd pitch strikes are killing me. They always put it in there and i end up with only ok or poor at bats. My dude has been around .290 - .310. I think of myself as an RBI hitter. I don't get a whole lot of hits but when i do i usually get a run home lol. I think my problem atm is i'm trying to keep my contact and power = for both sides so it may be slowing me down a little bit.

I have to agree. Im also having problems with sliding. But ill try the sliding halfway to the base to see if that works.

Yes, that should be one of the RTTS settings.

You are probably trying to slide too late. The point that you need to press the slide stick is somewhere between halfway and 3/4ths of the way to the bag you are running too.

Don't feel too bad. I have 6 errors and I think 5 of them were because I threw to the wrong base

wow, thats actually really impressive how u can have that many at bats and never be patient enough to work a single walk (.301 avg, .301 obp). how in the world did you get promoted? i know walks is occasionally an advancement goal.

I try to get walked, but they keep throwing strikes, even at the AA level, it is either swing or get caught looking, as you can see, I have had a tremendous amount of success with swinging.

I have actually only had that as an advancement goal 1 time so far.

Just started the 2012 Off-Season with my starting pitcher. I previously got a win in the playoffs for the Rays, but we lost in four games to the Indians. So I'm waiting to get a contract offer from them since I only have one year of MLB service; and that happened on the last possible day - December 2nd. I sign a one year deal for $3.2M to be the Rays ace (they traded David Price to the Mets already this off-season). Then a notification pops up..."You've been traded to the Cubs!" My team, the Cubs! I was so unhappy with the Rays because of how they operate their club. They just made the biggest mistake in the history of their franchise. Trading a 20 year old ace pitcher probably won't fair well with the fans. Well, onto Wrigley to win a World Series!

i hit 390 with 30 HR's and an OPS over 1000 in my first AA season(all-star zone hitting). i got called up to AAA the final week. only had 15 AB's before the AAA season ended. then I got called up to the majors in september. i sat behind ryan howard all month. didn't get ONE AB the entire month. not even a pinch hit.

in the off-season I sign a 4 yr/2.5 mill contract to be the AAA starter. spring training just ended and they have me as an MLB bench player. What? I'm afraid I'm gonna be doing a lot of nothing for awhile. It really sucks. I was doing real well with my progression. I had by power up to 75 and contact at 60.

stealing bases in RTTS

I'm having some trouble stealing in my RTTS. My SS has around 70-72 speed but my baserunning ability and aggressiveness are still pretty low. I typically only try to steal when I get the signal to. I'm getting decent, but not great, jumps and am getting thrown out most of the time (I have 2 stolen bases in I think about 7 attempts).
Can anyone tell me what the baserunning aggressiveness and ability ratings do in RTTS or have any tips on stealing 2nd?
