Hey guys, Can anyone with the game confirm you can still use the Game Watch feature to see all pitches in a RTTS game? Thank you.

I play only my AB's until my guy is fast enough on the basepaths for me to have some fun. I avoid fielding at all costs, I make 1B's and fielding is a major time-drain.

Re: MLB 11 "Road To The Show" thread

I'm looking forward to this game this year, wasn't so much last year and just played 09 or FIFA.

I'm going to create my first OF. A CF in the Ken Griffey Jr 5 tool type. I won't be maxing everything out like I've done before. Most likely just speed, RH contact, range, RH Power and Plate Vision. Everything else will be from 75 to 95 to keep the competitive balance somewhat even but still well in my favor.

I'm looking forward to see what small changes they've made as their is always a few the pop up out of nowhere as well as the new hitting controls and practice/training modes you can play. Either way, won't be getting much sleep for a couple weeks with work and this game taking up my full attention.
I'd like to talk to you about a serious problem. Packs of wild dogs that have taken over most of the major cities.

How do you play as batter:
you play only your at bats and no fielding or you play both ?
Last year I did all at bats and all fielding where I was involved and no baserunning...UNTIL I made it to the show.
Then I did everything, including every pitch, instead of just where I was directly involved.
I like the "not knowing so I better be ready" feeling with doing all pitches.

Started my RTTS today and I am impreseed with the system for awarding points, this is really good if at your at bat all you are doing is working the pitcher hard and thus still helping your team. The system recognises this and gives you the appropriate points.

Agreed. It is a major improvement over the old system. Night and day. And will only improve every year!

I love working the pitcher into 11 and 12 pitch at bats only to get a slapper up the middle for a base hit. Glad I will finally be rewarded for this.

Still debating if I should go home, nap till mid-night than wake up and go to Gamestop so I can play for a few hours before work.

I just hope the bug is finally gone that wouldn't allow you to get past a certain date in the schedule without freezing.

Having got in a good few hours today, I highly recommend you do not sim any games if you're trying to hoarde points, my guy was still in AA and would gain 99 points over 5-10 simmed games. Which makes my usual tactic of half and half in the minors obselete.

They should be tomorrow I believe. They were surprisedly successful last year from what I gather.

They are available. They were locked on Friday and Saturday. Probably won't be unlocked until tomorrow (release day).

I have to agree that simulating games give little points so its sort of useless. Kind of annoying if you dont want to play every game. I recommend just batting for the early part of your career so you ca build up some points. I usually like to simulate at least half or more of the games when I am in the minors.

Instead of CREATING someone in RTTS, can you just take control of a current Minor Leaguer?
