You are not loosing you mind. That is te way it was last year. But now with analog controls tied ti the right stick you can't use it to look around, you have to hold L2 first. Also if you hold L2 during a play it pulls out and you can see the whole field or it focuses in on the ball so you can see what is going on.

Is anyone else having problems with the ball going over the head of the 2nd baseman on DP tosses?Comment

Those are really good stats. What position are you?, What did you focus your training points on? Have you bought points?Comment

Re: MLB 11 "Road To The Show" thread
You can only turn off the post game auto save from the main menu. It'll still be a problem if you do it that way. You can turn it totally off for RTTS(and all other modes) by editing one of the 3 setting files in RTTS. Edit Auto-Save to Off in Gameplay settings, create a custom file, make it the default settings file, save it, and you should have no more problems with autosave.Comment

Re: MLB 11 "Road To The Show" thread
Having trouble in AAA since my goals are absurd. Allow only 4 hits in 4 series as a bullpen guy. Well that's hard when you send me out there every other day! Other goal was have 3.0 innings pitched, got that in my first game since they always leave me in. I only get a hit against me occasionally but since I pitch so much I have 6 now.
That's it, I give up on RTTS. The points for outs and such are a nice improvement but it should not be based on these stupid advancement goals. I apparently am below average according to my team with a .54 ERA, .72 WHIP, and 16 SO in 16.2 IP. I have better stats than our ace on the MLB TEAM and still getting bashed by my manager because oh no, I let by 10 hits in 16.2 IP. Really?Last edited by BwanaKuu; 03-12-2011, 02:07 PM.What would Doc do?Comment

Re: MLB 11 "Road To The Show" thread
i skimmed through this and may have missed this so I apologize if this has been brought up.
Has anyone had the standings reset during the season. I am at the end of June and my record for the team is like 2-6. I did just come off an injury so I don't know if that reset it or if it was because of the all-star break.
Anyone else run into this?Comment

Re: MLB 11 "Road To The Show" thread
So far, after about a week and a half of regular season, I'm 6/13 with the Tennessee Smokies, Chicago's AA affiliate. Rex Hudler is still in the Playstation 2 version of this game. Did they do anything other than roster updates and recolor the menus for this version?Comment

Re: MLB 11 "Road To The Show" thread
I got called up 7/26 to AAA. I simmed a a few months. I accidently simmed the USA all star game.
My simmed stats are 30 HRs and 100 RBIs. I only played 10 games and simmed the rest
I was Player of Game first game. I hit a 9th inning 2 out double. Then someone hit me home to win the game.Last edited by illwill10; 03-12-2011, 03:38 PM.Comment

Re: MLB 11 "Road To The Show" thread
I think after years of using the meter, I'm going to stick with classic for awhile. I tried analog, but, while it's fun, it's a strikefest. I have always gotten pretty decent results with the meter, but I decided to give classic a go and the results are stellar. Since my control ratings are still absolute doodoo, I should be all over the place and with classic, I am. I have times whereI can't hit the zone to save my life. Last game, I walked a guy on 4 pitches, then went 3-0 to the next guy. All of them were intended strikes. Before, I never worried too much about my control because while I got good results wih the meter, if I really beared down, I got get the ball close to where I needed. Now, I really need to improve my control.A screaming comes across the sky...Comment

Re: MLB 11 "Road To The Show" thread
I simmed the rest of the season only playing 1 game. I did not resign with White Sox, So I waited until Spring Training and I did spring tryouts with Florida Marlins. Instead of Signing with White Sox and being a AAA starter, I can tryout for the MArlins and being the MLB Starter.Comment
