In past versions wasn't there a Milestones page? You know 100 hits in a season, 3000 in a career? I can't find it anymore, if they took it out I wish it was still in.

Re: MLB 11 "Road To The Show" thread
So what hitting difficulty does everyone play on? I've been playing on Veteran, and recently moved up to All-star and I've been doing horrible.
In 2011 AA on veteran difficulty I hit .340 with 12 HR's and 79 RBI.
In 2012 I started the season as an AAA started and decided the Veteran was easy so I moved the difficulty up to All-Star and I'm not having the best of starts.
I might go down to Veteran so I can get better stats thus earning more training points to improve my player. And when my player is at a decent level I will then move to All-Star.Ohio State - Reds - Bengals - Blackhawks - BullsComment

Re: MLB 11 "Road To The Show" thread
So thing really started to move for my 3B in July 2012. I was traded from the Reds to the Angels for SP Dan Haren, spent a couple days at the Angels AAA club, got moved to the Angels 40 man roster, and got called up soon after. My first game 1 hit a 2 run HR, and the second a double and a triple. To the person who asked about difficulty, I'm on Rookie. I'll move it to Veteran once my role changes, it's still Rookie.Comment

Re: MLB 11 "Road To The Show" thread
I don't know if this is because of the patch or not since details of the patch aren't out yet but I thought I'd share this amazing news.
I FINALLY SWITCHED POSITIONS!!!!!!
After 4 years of RTTS and thousands of requests I finally was able to move positions based on the teams roster and depth. I won't lie, it got a bit misty eyed once I saw this for the first time.I'd like to talk to you about a serious problem. Packs of wild dogs that have taken over most of the major cities.

Re: MLB 11 "Road To The Show" thread
Does anyone know why I keep getting an "Auto-Save Failed" notice when I try to save my RTTS?
It says the file was created by another user and I can't save over it. And I can't save at all.
Any help?
Edit: It has something to do with the rosters I'm loading.
Edit: Nvm, got it.Last edited by DSA; 04-22-2011, 11:21 PM.Comment

Re: MLB 11 "Road To The Show" thread
Well I just bought the game, so I'm not too far along in RTTS yet.
I signed with the Phillies after beginning my career, playing 3B as my primary and 2B/SS as my backup positions, an infield utility player.
After hitting fairly well in AA leading the league in at least a few categories, I was called up to AAA in June due to an injury on the IronPigs. Right now it is mid-July and my average is decent but my power numbers have trailed off somewhat.
Right after the All-Star Break the jerks traded me to Detroit for Magglio Ordonez. Now I'm a bench player for the Mud Hens. The trade didn't make much sense to me because a) I'm a major prospect and b) it leaves the Phillies with three third-basemen in the entire organization and oldie Polanco as the headman.
Luckily with my one-year contract expiring at the end of season, as long as my numbers are decent, I think I'll be okay with getting on another team or preferably back to the Phillies. Although having never made it to the offseason in RTTS, I don't know how it works. Nothing against Detroit, I just wanted to eventually start my major league career with the Phillies. Hopefully it works out in the end.Comment

i decided not to resign with the flordia marlins and just tryout for other teams.
bad idea now my CF is on two teams and i can't undo it.
I wouldn't mind restarting and simming games since you still earn points if you go into the game then sim vs just simming. but i already spend around 10 dollars on points. Soo hopefully they can fix this error with a patch until then I won't be playing RTTS no time soon.Comment

Re: MLB 11 "Road To The Show" thread
nah only the load screens but in the locker room you can see all the linescores, with your inning by inning performance and can view boxscore by clicking on the individual game...I'm not sure if its a season by season thing or if it'll keep every game of your whole career thoughhttp://www.twitter.com/jconWORD <- FOLLOW ME! ...WORD!Comment

Re: MLB 11 "Road To The Show" thread
I went 3 for 30 after hitting my first home run... the only thing to come from those three hits was a bases loaded triple... I thought after that triple the slump would end but no... I'm finally out of it now and actually started sending pitches out the ballpark like I wanted to do with this guy... looks like he's on track for a promotion to AAA now.http://www.twitter.com/jconWORD <- FOLLOW ME! ...WORD!Comment

Re: MLB 11 "Road To The Show" thread
Anyone find that default power slider is producing to many homers for your rtts guy? I'm trying to go for realism and I've hit 17 homers already with only 231 ab's and I've got the "He's got above average power. Don't expect more than 25 hrs." potential. Were not even at the allstar break yet. I dropped it down one but I was wondering if anyone else sees the same thing or am I just hitting the meatballs well.Comment

Re: MLB 11 "Road To The Show" thread
Feels like I became a power hitter out of nowhere, first pitch in the 2nd season and it's a center field homerun.. only hit in that game. 2nd game 2 run homer, 4th game 3 run homer and so on..
I think I'm batting .463 8 homeruns (last year I also had 8 homeruns but in 83 games meanwhile this season it took me 23 I believe and 26 RBIsWhy did I move here? I guess it was the weather.Comment

Re: MLB 11 "Road To The Show" thread
Also I am in a slump, I'm 4 for my last 23 so far with one of them a triple and a homerun, funny how it happens when I'm hitting the ball at great timing but just line drives to the outfieldWhy did I move here? I guess it was the weather.Comment
