Got traded to the O's and, even though I'm 1/6 in the organization's ranking and 1/52 in the league's rankings, I'm still in triple A. I've been told three times the bit about the no room om the 40-man roster. I expect a September call up.

I haven't missed a goal yet. Is it me or are they easier this year?

It depends. Once I got called up to the big leagues they put me in as a bench guy. My first goals, as a BENCH player were to get 8 total bases, hit a home run ( I have 30 power from both sides), and upgrade my durability and reaction. I got 8 at-bats to do that in the goal time. Insanity. I upgraded the attributes but sure as hell didn't get the other two goals. Honestly, I don't see the point of goals for bench guys since you barely get any playing time to get points and a bad game kills you.

Meanwhile I'm batting .192 with a .353 OBP, with 7 walks and 2 strikeouts in 34 Plate Appearances. I'm also getting BABIP'd to death. Every single thing I hit goes right at a fielder. So Basically I'm doing what Jorge Posada is doing this year. Also during this bench time it looks like once again will not reach the total bases goal. And I didn't get the fielding percentage goal since my insane manager for the 3rd time already in less than a month put me in the infield in the late innings (twice 2B, once 3B) and I made an error at 3B. I'm a CF and my secondary is OF. And now after two periods of only getting 2/4 goals, my psychotic manager is warning me. I'm really loving RTTS right now. Hurray for insane goals!

Hi Guys,

I have a question. Right now, I'm playing a pitcher who was drafted by the Yankees, then traded in double-A to the Padres. I came up to the MLB half-way through my 2nd-year and I'm now the MLB Ace for the Padres. I hate the Padres (no offense to your fans), they score no runs for me so I end up with a 2.32 ERA while going 10-11. I want to get traded or hit FA. How long until I get FA?

I have not signed a long-term contract, I have been going year-to-year. Do I still need to serve my 6 years of MLB service even though the Padres didn't draft me? What's the best way to get traded? At this point I don't care if I even get put on the Red Sox (Yankees fan).

LOL, so get this. I simmed the latest season with the Padres and before the offseason requested a trade and they denied it. So going into this offseason, guess who they traded me to? The Red Sox, LOL. Oh the irony. Good part of it is, I get a lot of run support and I keep them in games. But the AL East is killing my career ERA.

currently in my 4th year in RTTS. I started with the Phillies, got traded to Oakland, then got traded to the Marlins. I am having a great year so far, 35 HR, 101 RBI's, 8 triples and batting .360. I can't get a call up to save my life due to 40 man roster being full. I have got my power in the 70's, contact in the 60's, and speed in the 70's. I made the all star team and the USA vs. World team. I am leading league in so many categories, but due to my manager benching me for stealing(i dropped my controller and my guy took off) I don't have enough at bats per game to qualify in some categories. I will be requesting a trade quite often next year. Hopefully the show comes calling soon!

Definitely a bug with stealing. I am told not to steal but a hit and run is called. Batter misses the pitch and I get caught stealing therefore get reprimanded for trying to steal!! WTF?! So I am benched for a while.

Include a changeup or circle-change in there for best results. Change-ups are the Jesus pitch in this game. And a lot in real life, too.

I started with a 4-seam fastball, knucklecurve, and a cutter. Worked very well for me. My idea was to become an AJ Burnett like pitcher. I picked a delivery with a small leg kick though, I hate his high leg kick. I eventually added a changeup during my minor league second year and it's probably my most effective pitch behind my fastball.

So I would pick a 4-seam fastball, changeup, and slider. I just added a slider this year with the Red Sox and it's a huge strikeout pitch for me right now.

Finally beat level 5 contact training. I'm glad I won't see that in RTTS again. only took about 100 reps. Now to about April 2016 with my SS.

I wouldn't feel bad about that considering they used to be the Yankees AAA affiliate... now that I live in VA I'm a little disappointed that the Norfolk Tides are no longer the Mets AAA and then the New Orleans Zephyrs was short lived as the Buffalo Bisons are now the Mets Triple-A team

Started a RTTS character in my 2nd year in the KC system playing for AAA Omaha. I tried to steal a couple times, got caught and had my green light to steal revoked. No biggie. Then I get a hit and the manager calls for a hit and run. I steal, batter misses, I'm safe. After the game I get a message about how I've been instructed not steal and now I'm benched indefinitely. The game called for me to steal and I was punished for it. Pretty annoying bug.

so has anyone here actually been able to steal all the time? like say if I max out or relatively max out at least, speed BR Aggression and BR ability will the coach still be stupid and "remove the greent light" ?

Being given green light doesn't mean you have to steal all the time, does it?

Yes I think stealing in RTTS is still a bit tough... I think I'm most successful with GREAT jump, which basically happen when I take off at the same time or even earlier than just when the pitcher delivers. But this of course is very risky, but if you are a speedster or only occasionally steal, it's worth the risk.

With increasing the BR speed slider (and possibly lowering BR ability slider as well), I had much, much easier time stealing. My guy has mostly max speed/BR abilities.
