When you start a season after you won the World Series on opening day, will the announcers acknowledge that your team won it all last year?

Will there be a ring ceremony on opening day?

Will there be a new banner or flag for your new championship at the stadium? Will it acknowledge division winners? For instance, on the outfield wall near right center, the Angels have all the times they have won the division. Will the game finally update things like that?

Will it finally show our ads we purchased for the stadium?

Thanks. I totally spaced on asking these questions at CES.
I don't know about the announcers and any commentary to be honest. I did not see any flags or dynamic updates to stadiums. I do not believe that ads are displayed that are purchased. Knight and I actually discussed this at one point.

Just so I can share my worthless knowledge with you...

If I'm not mistaken, MLB 2005 was the last game that showed the fake ads in game. It is entirely possible, though, that MLB 2006 allowed this as well.

I'm not sure what they are trying to do with the new player generator. In the article about franchise they said there will be fewer balanced players, in other words fewer overall good players.

My experience with the current game is there are already too few good players available in the amateur draft. Maybe I'm not understanding what they are doing but it seems to me they are headed in the wrong direction.

I think what they are trying to do is have more players either be really good(a few)....less "even keel" players ....

Now I'm not sure if they also mean more players that excel in one particular area of the game(like GREAT at contact....not so good at POWER....or vice versa....etc....rather than have a player who is always generated as both(but I'm sure there will be those as well)

In regards to the balanced player generator, I was thinking somewhere it did go into a bit of detail and give examples such as a "speed" guy with a weak bat or, like Knight said, a power guy who whiffs a lot. To say less "balanced" generated players mean less good players seems to be a false statement to me. I like the thought of having more variety in the players' skills as it adds a different wrinkle in personnel strategy.

I think what Ramone@SCEA commented on during the interview is how generic players have more pronounced characters, and less of "good/mediocre/poor at everything" feel.

I guess I will put my questions as suggestions in the wishlist for next years game.

That's the focus not on having less good players but more unbalanced type of guys who excel in certain areas but are weak in others. There will still be 5 tool players at the top of the draft but now you will get a little more randomness to the draft classes. With some high contact low power, high power low contact, OF's who are fast with great arms but can't hit anything etc........

In MLB free agency has been completely revamped. Does the game now reflect the new reality or is it the same with type A and type B free agents?

                    Thanks.

To be honest I never even looked to see if compensation was still given to Type B free agents, but I believe it is the same process this year. Next year there will have to be a big rewrite of alot of the offseason "rules" due to the new CBA.

Is there a reason why The Show doesn't have the MVP plaque in the game, instead has that weird trophy cup? Aren't all the other trophies correct in their appearances?

Does it have something to do with Kennesaw Mountain Landis? If so, then why do we have the Hank Aaron award still? Or the Jackie Robinson plaque for ROY?

Will CPU controlled teams have the ability to re-locate throughout a franchise? And will there some sort of jersey editor in franchise, say if you'd like to create a new home and away jersey for your franchise?

                              No on both accounts.

The problem with that is the new CBA will affect the first off season for this years game. Hopefully it was addressed. If not the entire off season process is obsolete.
