Seems like a lot o people are getting Gardner. I can't stand him personally, but I guess the Yankees feel the same way. I wouldn't think they would ever trade him IRL.

He's a pretty good player on the game. I remember last year almost every Braves franchise I did the Yankees would offer him up in a deal I couldn't turn down.

He's a nice player but far from an untouchable.

I am currently 6-16 in my Braves franchise. I am using Majingir's sliders. I am 0-6 vs the Mets, I got swept by the Astros, but I did manage to win 1 against Milwaukee, 2 out of 4 in Arizona and 2 out of 3 in Los Angeles. I'm now 1-2 against the Pirates during a 4-game series to end April.

1 - I cannot hit with McCann, at all. He's batting .183 (I use timing, guess pitch 1/4) and even if I guess pitch and location and it's a FB in his "hot zone" I end up nubbing in to the 2B. He has 0 HR and 0 RBI and it's almost May, WTF?!?

2 - I am becoming annoyed with the 2-out rally by the CPU. I will breeze through the inning and get 2 outs, and then all of a sudden an infielder misplays a ball or throws it into the seats and all of a sudden the CPU in unstoppable. I would say that 75% of the runs scored against me come after 2 men are out.

3 - I use pulse pitching and more times than not the ball for some reason ends up right down the middle. I'll throw a FB, confidence high, and aim for the corner. I'll time it so the circle is as small as possible in the lower left and I throw it and next thing you know it's 400 feet from home plate. I look at the pitch analysis and sure enough the pitch is dead center middle of the plate, again WTF?

4 - Most of my struggles on offense (I'm 25+ in ALL categories) are due to my lack of patience at the plate. I can't count the # of 3 or 4 pitch innings I give the CPU because I'm always swinging too early in the count. When I do manage to build momentum it's usually for only 1 inning a game. I went back and looked and some boxscores and in over half of my games my runs all came in one inning.

I love, love, love this game and I am hoping that once I get some things straightened out I will have a blast, but for now it's a struggle not to get angry. When I win, it's awesome, but I am soooo tired of losing!!

Not a franchise but feel it works here...Waiting to play my season once knights rosters are out & doing a 14 game fantasy draft as the marlins. 1st overall pick was...Clayton kershaw! Pretty surprising. My team is loaded. Here are some of my guys...

1-6 so far in my Twins franchise. I feel like I have a good lineup, but I just can't hit...my pitching hasn't been the best either but i should be able to score 2-3 a game. Oh well, everyone will get hot soon...i hope.

Anibal Sanchez and Big Z are just mowing through teams for me atm. Sanchez is 6-0 and Big Z is 5-0. The rest of my rotation hasn't been as solid but nobody has let me down.

Feel like I might need to add another piece to the bullpen. The Artist Formerly Known as Leo Nunez has been horrible so far.

After the somewhat decent start, I dropped completely and am now 3-11 with the Twins.

My bullpen managed to throw away a 3-run 8th inning lead to lose game 3 of the series to the Rays, and in game 4, the game was scoreless through 15 innings until Carlos Pena knocked one over the wall to send the Twins home without a win in 3 close games at Tropicana.

I signed Roy Oswalt as the pitching has been poor, but since then, good starts from Pavano and Baker have really helped the defense, however the offense is up and down.

I'm going to try to trade Jamey Carroll and a starting pitcher (either Baker or Blackburn) for either a strong pitcher or a second baseman.

It doesn't get any easier with Boston coming to Target Field next up. It hasn't been an easy start to the season:

Baltimore - away
Angels - home
Yankees - away
Rays - away

just started my twins franchise, i sweeped baltimore, so im 3-0, i won 6-4, 5-3, 5-4

Just lost Jose Reyes for 1-2 months. Things were going so well...

Brought in Edgar Renteria on a 1 year deal to fill the gap for the time being.

My a's franchise was corrupted so I went with the mets and multiple saves lol. M 9-10 in April so far. I lost Thole for the year and my catching had suffered. I made 2 minor trades. I traded a minor leaguer for Don Kelly and sent Duda and rob Johnson o the twins for Ryan Doumit. I also sent pelfrey to the minors and called up zack wheeler.

I mentioned earlier in this thread about my pirates franchise and trading pitching prospects for bautista. Supriaingpy they accepted it and I figured what the hell, lets see what kind of a difference he will make......it wasn't much to say the least. Still missed the playoffs year 1, ended up resigning him to a long term deal but it left me with almost no cap space so I started looking for teams to trade him to. Decided to trade him to Detroit for v mart, Austin Jackson and Max scherzer. Its a little to easy to trade obviously but it worked out for Detroit as they went on to win the world series. We made the playoffs but of course got swept up in the first round by the marlins.

Needless to say trades seem to be a little wonky as I did all that without trade override, this isn't gonna be my main franchise though, so I'm just havin fun with it.

In my Pirates fantasy draft team, I just threw a combined no-hitter, it started with Shelby Miller, then Jake McGee for two innings, then Brett Meyers for the save. I have thrown a perfect game, but this is the first time I have thrown a combined no-hitter it was very exciting and a completely different experience. I actually didn't know I was throwing a no-hitter until I looked at the big screen at Chase Field and I was like hey I am throwing a no-hitter. Anyway besides that no-hitter, we have started off 10-0, I will post my team later if anybody wants to see how I drafted.

Didn't want to start a new thread for this but I have something that I hope guys can help with, I just finished the amateur draft and signed the guys that i drafted. I have advanced a few days but can't seem to find out how to put those players on my roster, I feel really stupid because its probably easy but I've advanced multiple days to and still cant find the players anywhere.
