That was truly brilliant, and a great answer to the question. Thank you.

Re: MLB 12 The Show - Vita Impressions Thread
This made me laugh for some reason. I think it was the "I has woman boss".
Anyway, could any of you play the Vita version alone, without a PS3 at all? The reason why I ask is because I might be moving to the UK and moving my PS3 and all might be tough. The Vita would certainly help.Comment

Back on the topic of the game, I've noticed I pitch far better on the Vita and hit far better on the PS3. Exactly the same for me but makes sense. You can get better depth/timing on a large TV. Pitching I think I just see a larger strike zone and get stupid sometimes.Comment

Re: MLB 12 The Show - Vita Impressions Thread
Well I found out I had batting on Hall of Fame, once I noticed this and moved it to all star my strike outs were cut in half. I am still getting drove, but I am getting competitive. I have a few homers and a few base hits, but my pitching goes south in the later innings.I can do all things in Christ who strengthens me!

Re: MLB 12 The Show - Vita Impressions Thread
Just finished a fun game Astros(me) vs. Angels
Box score:
Astros: 1R 6 H 2E
Angels: 3R 2H 1 E
Astros Batting 12 K's 0BB
Angels Batting 8K's 4 BB
Astros used 2 pitchers
Angels used 4.
my starter threw 102 pitches in 6 and 1/3 inning
Angels starter threw 73 pitches in 6 innings.
My biggest mistake was a hanging curve that Pujols crushed for a 2 run homer in the 3rd.
Really enjoy the pick up and go ability of the vita. Plus the fact I can pause the game, put it to sleep and come back later.I can do all things in Christ who strengthens me!

Re: MLB 12 The Show - Vita Impressions Thread
I hit four homers in my last game in my fantasy season, including a walk off with Andres Torres pinch hitting in the 9th. I may finally be getting this hitting down. I've also Drawn 11 walks in my last three games.
My box scores have been beautiful lately!
One thing I've noticed though is there are at least a few guys on each team that have huge bloated faces. It's no big deal really because it's funny, just an FYI thing.Originally posted by Anthony BourdainThe celebrity chef culture is a remarkable and admittedly annoying phenomenon. Re: MLB 12 The Show - Vita Impressions Thread
Just bought a Vita last night for this game. Im waiting for rosters before starting a franchise, but practice and hr derby have kept me really occupied. I chose the experience settings and analog pitching. First baseball game since show 09 and wow! Feels like the show! I was going to post how I don't like pitching, but then pitched with Halliday in an exhibition and wow. Pitched a gem having a no hitter till the 8th. Ended up in the 11 and Dontrelle Willis control became a factor. Lost 1-0. Realizing pitchers skill really matters.
The game plays at a great speed for me at least. Don't find myself bashing the speed up button. Have issues with the start button, but I'm amazed and happy with the purchase.Comment

Re: MLB 12 The Show - Vita Impressions Thread
Ditto....in fact I love pulse pitching on the Vita, but what I really enjoy is being able to use the touchscreen to place pitches. I love this feature so much I find myself missing it horribly on the PS3 version. The pulse pitching meter in combination with the shakiness of the sticks from the DualShock when you try to paint the corners is almost enough to induce a seizure, lol.Check out my large collection of NCAA Football 12 screen shots from my Ohio State and USF Dynasties!

Re: MLB 12 The Show - Vita Impressions Thread
Is anyone else having a majorly difficult time throwing with the VITA version. It seems a very high 30-50% of my infielders throw produce a yellow or red circle. The right thumbstick seems overly sensitive to me.
I've tried taking the throwing difficulty down to rookie, but I'm still getting too many throwing errors. Pretty much a game killer right now. PS3 is no problem.
Thanks for your helpComment

Re: MLB 12 The Show - Vita Impressions Thread
Not at all. It's just a matter of getting used to the sticks for fielding. I recommend playing one or two games where all you do is play defense. Switch controllers between each innings and practice until you find your mark consistently.Originally posted by Anthony BourdainThe celebrity chef culture is a remarkable and admittedly annoying phenomenon.
