Still love having this for travel, especially considering I'm about to hop on a redeye tonight. Anyways, I typically change my sliders between the PS3 and Vita.

Question #1: Is there anyway to transfer the franchise files other than the cloud, I'm pretty certain there isn't just wanted to ask.

Question #2: Has anyone had issues with hotel internet where there is a browser redirect/login prior to actually connecting to the internet?

Don't know about #1.

For #2, you can take care of browser redirect/login using the browser on Vita, just as you would do with your laptop, etc. Once you are authorized in the browser, you can use WiFi as usual with the rest of Vita. It's been working fine in cafe, etc., for me...

I've had issues in the past with this on PSP. It's essentially the same as trying to connect a laptop to it in the sense that you need to open a browser and enter some kind of code. The Vita's browser should allow you to do this, because the PSP's did. Front desk can probably help you as it's really not much different from the laptop process.

The browser allows you to do this, but games are played with the assumption that the browser is suspended (otherwise we wouldn't have to close our games to use the browser). Because of this, no browser, no Internet. I haven't been able to do things with games online in these places, and I think it's for this reason.

Of course, it could be for another reason entirely...

Once you are authenticated, the internet shouldn't discriminate whether you are connecting from your browser or from the game, so I don't know why you are not able to connect to the web. I think you have to make sure you do the login/authentication thing with your browser *first*, and then launch the game since I notice some games try to detect whether you are online or not at the launch, and if it cannot detect connection then totally disables online features.

I have the WiFi version and can get online anywhere that offers wireless internet. I get the code, go into settings on my Vita, click the Network option, click the WiFi box, click the network of the establishment, put in the code and I'm on

Some places, Starbucks in Canada for example, require you to use the browser to authenticate yourself (presumably to collect some info about you the user) instead of protecting the WiFi itself by a keyword. For that kinda place you need to use Vita browser.

Yeah in several hotels so far, well 3, the re-direct doesn't work correctly on the browser, I either get a blank browser or error screen "An error was occured. C2-13242-2)

Any ideas?

That error seems to indicate that you are not connecting to the WiFi spot properly to begin with. Are you sure that you are properly connected to the hot spot first, and then accessing the web via the browser?

I just received this game from gamefly and I really suck, it was 16-0 in the 6th inning against the Oakland A's! I tried all different modes of pitching and the best one for me was pulse pitching. But I can't ever time it right. The circle always seems like it is huge even though I swear I hit the button at it's smallest point. One time I did get perfect timing but still the circle was huge. Basically, the circle always looks big so I'm not sure what I'm doing wrong.

I watched some tutorials on youtube, but the circle seems like it's a lot different on the Vita...it's just always the same size for me (really big).

I really like the game, it's so deep compared the game I'm used to cough*Madden*cough. And it's on the Vita for that matter. I've got a lot to learn!

Yeah just practice. The screen takes some getting used too. I sucked my first many games but I'm happy where I'm at now.

Well, looks like no cloud saves for me until the Vita gets a patch. If you use CS, the schedule reverts back to the incorrect start times and will eventually corrupt your Franchise file.

Hopefully the Vita gets a patch soon. Cross-platform ability was a huge selling point for me, and now I can't use it.
