Re: 2012 The Show Official Trade Discussion Thread
Regardless of how many players the Red Sox have on the top 100 He would still be our top hitting prospect...
But I'm not going to further spam this thread with an irrelevant topic...
(And btw the 2 players in front of WMB on your first list are players who are years away, our best prospect right now is WMB, case closed...)
Continue with the trade discussion...Comment

Re: 2012 The Show Official Trade Discussion Thread
1) Buster Olney and Jayson Stark reported on twitter and ESPN insider that the Red Sox threw his name in their for Hanley when things weren't working in Spring
2)Also last year the Red Sox were willing to give up WMB for Ubaldo in package last year I know this for a FACT
He also was thrown around in the Bailey trade as well.
I think he's good don't get me wrong, I just don't think he's untradable, and also I think people are thinking this awesome month he just had will continue and that he'll be this good. Yes he can hit for power, but he's not very disciplined and has trouble taking pitches and walking. He'll never have a great OBP and he's not a great defender, but manageable. He does have some pop which will lead to some 20 HR seasons. Just don't get too caught up in this month he's having.Last edited by bugle987; 05-18-2012, 01:28 PM.Comment

Re: 2012 The Show Official Trade Discussion Thread
that's an argument for u and Sox fans to have....i personally have enjoyed watching him play so far and as an A's fan i woulda drove to Oakland to pick up Middlebrooks if that rumor was indeed true....for Ubaldo? and im not saying this in 20/20 hindsight but im glad the Sox didnt pull the trigger on that dealComment

Re: 2012 The Show Official Trade Discussion Thread
lol im happy for Middlebrooks... especially since i was never a Youk guy.....of course every prospect gunna cool down after a hot streak..it's how he rebounds after a slump that matters...and Ubaldo has been well....less then stellar to be kind :wink:Steelers | Seminoles | A's | Rockets | Avalanche | Wildcats, Hoosiers | LiverpoolComment
