Would it have to be 3 high B's like Rosario, Hicks, and A guy like Benson... Or 3 lower and younger B's like Levi Michael, Oswaldo Arcia, and Tyler Robertson?

He ends up on the trade block pretty much every year and he can usually be had relatively cheap. One B and one C but one year I was able to get him for two C's.

How about Erik Bedard if you want a lefty? If the Pirates are out of if I guess you could get him for two B's.

If we're talking cheap vets, I've always had good k-rates with Kevin Millwood of the M's. He's got a full repertoire and he probably won't cost more than two C's.

For groundball outs, look at Aaron Cook hidden way deep in the Red Sox system

Don't know what Liriano is making money wise in the game but sounds fair at first glance

Now - of course they would trade him for another young stud like Harper or Trout, etc.

Other teams may have asked for him and been denied.....but the Red Sox were not looking to trade Middlebrooks
Ya I heard plenty of rumors of them offering him up, just cause he has a good couple weeks doesn't mean thats how hes gonna play during his career. He's there 3rd best prospect in alot of rankings as well, so I dont see where you're saying hes there best prospect. Hes not untoucahble.

I would love to know where you heard these rumors that they were "offering up" Middlebrooks.......because that hasn't happened, not within the last 2 years for sure.

I also haven't seen Middlebrooks ranked #3 or less than #1 in quite some time either

Correct sir, I don't know what this other guys talking about... Maybe he's just messing with you... Or getting Youk confused with WMB...

And on that note, what fair value for Youk in the game a couple "B" prospects or maybe just a "B" and "C"... I don't know...

No I'm not stupid I'm not getting Youk messed up with WMB, its just Sox nation never gives up and thinks the best until there team does one thing bad and then they turn on their team.

Regardless of how many players the Red Sox have on the top 100 He would still be our top hitting prospect...

But I'm not going to further spam this thread with an irrelevant topic...

(And btw the 2 players in front of WMB on your first list are players who are years away, our best prospect right now is WMB, case closed...)

                              Continue with the trade discussion...

Two of the greatest pitching performances I've ever the privilege of seeing (or hearing on the radio) were that of Brandon Marrow. We all know the first one...

But the other was a few years back when he was a Mariner. The Yankees had never seen him before and he flat out dominated.

                                Huge upside with Marrow.
