But, that being said, I'm hoping to sign him for maybe 4-5mil per year for the next couple of years. If I can do that, I would be willing to part with some pretty good prospects.

    I tried out the sort method. But still a bit confused on who are high/mid/low. Is this just relative to players in my own system or is it league wide? For example, Player X is a mid B on my team. If I trade him to another team, could he potentially become a low B on their team if they are already loaded with prospects similar to Player X.

    Also, you said that a high B could become a low A.... Could you elaborate on that? Y. Molina has struggled at the plate for me this year. He batted .310+ (forgot exactly) while putting up some decent power numbers for him. (I think 8 HR, maybe 80RBI) But this year, he is batting .255 through the All Star Break with only 1-2 HR. He is showing up as a high B prospect on my list still. (I believe the roster originally had him at B also.) So he didn't regress despite his cold season.

    Just pretty confused on how these High/Mid/Low potentials work. Do they also factor in age? I noticed all my "high" A's were much younger than my older guys.

    When you went to sort. We will say you had 3 A's on your roster. The 1 at the top is your highest with the 3rd being your lowest. As for your question on if you traded him. You are right. If they had 2 A's already and you traded your lowest to said team. After the trade your ex-A showed as their 1st A. Then.he becomes their highest A. As for Yadier. Players don't start regressing in the game till they are 31/32. So him being a pot. B is the reason why he didn't change if his ratings are still averaging B.

    Hope this help and doesn't confuse you more.

      Ok for a 3 month rental for of Fowler. 2 Solid B's, like the package The Phillies got for Vivtorino

        Wouldn't Fowler just be arb eligible, though?

        Does anyone really care where I sent this from?

          Re: 2012 The Show Official Trade Discussion Thread

          Have a struggling Chris Sale on my roster, it's 2015 so he's 25 years old. End of June and he's 1-0 w/ a 5.91 ERA and 70 strikeouts. I've been losing most games he starts, so I'm looking to move him despite his last 2 seasons.

          2013: 19-6 234SO 2.96ERA
          2014: 19-4 247SO 3.43ERA

          He could be an ace for any team except for the Yankees, Red Sox, or Dodgers. I could trade him for prospects and go to a 4 pitcher rotation. I'm leading my division by 16 games so I'm not worried about missing the playoffs, but Sale could be a liability in the post season if another pitcher starts struggling.

          What do you guys think I could expect to get for him?

          Edit: he has 3 years left on his contract. 17mil per year

                Does anyone else have an opinion on what to give up? Just want to get several opinions before making a move. Also, how should I balance out the player's OVR rating to make the trade fair. I have a ton of A pot SP but not all are ML ready. What OVR should I be shooting for to give to COL to make it fair.

                Trading for D. Fowler:
                Currently batting .328 (2nd in NL); COL is 13 games out of division; At trading deadline; Glaring weaknesses as SP, C, and 1B (Worst in MLB at C and 1B I believe); Has 1.6m left on his contract- final year; Arbitration Eligible after this year;
