Re: 2012 The Show Official Trade Discussion Thread
Reyes is NOT the hitter he was when I started my franchise, he's a D contact hitter now. Wells is not a number 4 OF anymore, he's a solid starter, not an all-star, but still solid.
Thanks for the feedback though guys, I'll look around elsewhere, maybe Stanton will hit FA, his morale's pretty low with Miami right now.Comment

I'd love to know your definition of superstar. There's an argument for Mauer, but Cargo?

He's hitting .242 away from Coors. That's pathetic. He's a Coors product, no doubt."Twelve at-bats is a pretty decent sample size." - Eric ByrnesComment

Re: 2012 The Show Official Trade Discussion Thread
Just throwing this trade offer I made in here since it hasn't gotten any response in the Arbitration thread. Just looking for some honest feedback, and any would be much appreciated! Still early in our season, but I am highly interested in Peter Bourjos. How does this offer for him look?

Thanks for the response! You think the Angels would realistically do this too! I've watched some of their games, and they seem to have trouble finding a spot in the lineup for him.Comment

I'm no metrics expert, but what about the one that adjusts for park? Because I'd LOVE to see how CarGo fares in that one."Twelve at-bats is a pretty decent sample size." - Eric ByrnesComment

realistically? no...since they're still hella high on him especially with Torii gettin older and older and Wells being a colossal wasteSteelers | Seminoles | A's | Rockets | Avalanche | Wildcats, Hoosiers | LiverpoolComment

Cargo still has a pretty nice OPS+. I'd definitely consider him a superstar.Comment

Re: 2012 The Show Official Trade Discussion Thread
Also he still is walking and he's hit 7 HR in 50 games on the road, sO it's not as bad as your saying. He's a career .261 hitter on the road. But he's played about 120 of his 240 road games at either Oakland, LAD, Petco, or Att which are all extreme pitcher parks. So gotta look at that too"Twelve at-bats is a pretty decent sample size." - Eric ByrnesComment
