well u wouldnt have to pay a rental as much as JJ or Garza...Danks is NOT an ace.....low-A for either JJ or Garza seems reasonable in my book

Pretty much this, personally I'd go with Garza...but that's just me. I think his track record in the AL East is a big plus for me and his durability has been better than JJ's as well. Both are electrifying arms and both would help push you through a pennant race.

Carpenter is hurt. Shields is 5-7 with a 5.91 ERA. Johnson is 9-4 with a 2.21 ERA. Garza is 4-3 with a 3.38 ERA.

Edwin Jackson is like +2 in everything but has a 1-11 record and 6.88 ERA LMAO.

Also considering Hudson for a rental - 9-3, 2.15 or John Danks who's 9-5, 3.86.

F it. I'm the freaking Pirates for chrissakes and 3 up on the Brewers at the break with a default roster plus a trade for LaHair and one for Werth in the Spring.

I'm going for Johnson! I'm going to add a B prospect just to overpay a little.

Nah I can't put a guy who hasnt thrown 200 inn once in his career and is just starting to start this year
