You're looking for a bat? From these teams?

Well, you don't need a 3B, 1B, DH, 2B, or an OF, I'd guess you need a SS for a rental. (You don't seem to be going for COMPLETE realism, and are not a huge baseball fan, so try some of these guys:

                  Yunel Escobar, TOR
                  Stephen Drew, ARI
                  JJ Hardy, BAL
                  Sean Rodriguez, TB

Maybe even Kyle Seager from SEA, who can play anywhere in the INF.

How dare you say that I'm not a big fan of baseball xD. I love baseball. Maybe I don't know as much as you do about it but I've only been watching for like a year. But I am a big fan.

About the bat, I'm trying to go for realism as much as I can. I haven't made a trade yet, and when I do, I always come here before, asking if it's a fair trade.
I thinking of Escobar or Seager. Seager would be great because of his age, but i like Escobar. Any more players? Good bat players?

I'm just a 15 year old kid, what do I know? lol, I didn't mean for it to come out like that, I meant it as you don't quite understand the game yet, as in regards to trading, buyers/sellers, etc.

Anyway, bout the bat... If you're trying to be as realistic as possible, then go for a position of need, (again, I think you're the Red Sox, right?) and you don't need a long term option at any INF spot. You also have Carl Craford and Jacoby Ellsbury in LF/CF. You also have Adrian Gonzalez, Will Middlebrooks, and Dustin Pedroia playing the INF. You also have Mike Aviles playing SS who isn't the long term answer there. You have Xander Bogearts (sp?) in the minors who will develop into a great SS, so you only need a SS for the next 2 years, and I think Yunel Escobar would be a good option. You can play him while the SS prospect is in the minors developing. Also, you have Cody Ross in RF (I think lol) and could play him for a while if you want (idk His contract details, or his age (around 28?)) but in case he is older than I expected, here are some players who can play RF for you out of those teams that are under .500:

                      Casper Wells, Mariners
                      Justin Upton, Diamondbacks
                      Torii Hunter, Angels
                      Vernon Wells, Angels
                      Peter Bourjos, Angels

Yes, I am the Red Sox, and I agree that my positions of need are indeed SS and RF. Cody Ross is a bit older than that, he is 31. I think I'm choosing to trade for a RF. What players should I trade? Prospects?
Also, I was looking and saw that the Blue Jays will accept a Middlebrooks, Aviles and Danny Valencia trade for Encarnacion. Is that a fair/good trade for me? And if I do this trade I'll have no good SS. What should I do?

DON'T accept/propose that trade. You'll lose your only good 3B, who is young and has high potential, and your SS, PLUS a backup utility INF who is actually not that bad, for a 30-ish y/o OF/3B/1B/DH, when you have A-Gon, Ortiz, and Middlebrooks who can play there. It is also VERY unrealistic for Encarnacion to go anywhere, because he recently signed a contract with the Jays long term.

I am not quite sure who you'd want to trade away, but it all depends who you're persuing. You're probably going to have to trade prospects.

Who are you looking into for a RF? Keep in mind you might want to look for a player who plays RF on a team under .500 because they are out of the race, and have no need for star players, just prospects to build for the future.

Yes, I recon that I shouldn't do the Encarnacion trade and I'm not gonna do it. For RF of course the player that gets most of my interest is J. Upton, but would it be a realistic move? And what would I offer for him? I saw that blue far is full when I go with Middlebrooks for him, although they say it's not the right move for them. If that doesn't work I'm thinking of Borjous (I'm not sure if I spelled it right). Any advice?

Are you looking for a guy who can hit 3-4-5th? Or a guy who can hit 1st, maybe at the bottom of the line-up? I need to know that info.

Also, what is your line-up? I think it might help, and I can maybe help you construct a new line-up once you pull a trade.

I think maybe at bottom, cause my lineup on top is very strong.

                                1. Ellsbury
